"Come outside after." Bakugou had told Midoirya. Valkyr overheard this and was intrigued. She had spent the day with Aizawa and Hizashi celebrating the fact that she got her provisional licence. So she hadn't had a chance to talk with Bakugou much today.  After everyone went to bed she followed the two boys as they walked. She stayed back so they wouldn't notice her. She watched Bakugou walk ahead of Midoirya with purpose and a goal. While Midoirya followed behind nervously. They soon walked up to Ground Beta. It's where they had their first battle test. She hid around a corner of a building to not be seen but keep an eye on what was going on.

"This is where I fought you for the first time in combat training and lost." Bakugou spoke. "For all this time, just thinking about it made my damn stomach...you were a quirkless, good-for-nothing weak little bitch. But by some miracle, you got accepted to U.A. and by an even bigger miracle, your quirk manifested out of thing air, ain't that right?" Valkyr frowned as she listened to Bakugou. She remembered when Bakugou got upset over Midoirya joining U.A. and suddenly having a quirk. But Valkyr already knew the truth behind Midoirya's quirk.  "You were an incomprehensible bastard, spewing nothing but garbage. And ever since then, you've been wearing this self-satisfied  face while growing more and more, the whole god damn time. Ever since that one time with the sludge bastard....no...ever since All Might first came to town! More and more and more and more....and in the end you even got your provisional license. And I fucking failed! What the hell's up with that?!?"

"I earned that by demonstrating my abilities...." Midoriya tried to say.

"SHUT THE HELL UP AND LISTEN ASSHOLE!" Bakugou screamed at him.

"Sorry," Midoriya said.

"The whole damn time it pissed me off," Bakugou said. "It disgusted me. But y'know....with the whole incident in Kamino. I finally put the pieces together. And I've been thinking about it the whole time. You got that power from All Might, didn't you?" Valkyr sighed from behind the wall. She always knew Bakugou was smarter than people gave him credit for. She looked up at the night sky and remembered when she first met All Might, or Toshinori. She had been intimidated by his large form and loud voice, but had been curious about his small form. After a few months he showed her his scarred chest and began to tell her things. Eventually he even told her the secret to One for All. That had been what made her open up to him about her own quirks and what she could do. Toshinori was the first one to get her to train with him. To get her to come out of her shell a bit. Learning about what happened to him during the kamino incident and how he fought All for One. She had told anyone, but she felt guilty. He had come to save her again. To save her and Bakugou and in the end, he won the fight, but would never be able to fight again. He had passed the torch to the next generation.

"And that's why," Bakugou said drawing her attention back to them. "You're gonna fight me! Right here! Right Now!"

"Why?" Midoirya said surprised. Valkyr turned and looked at them worried. She didn't want either of them to get hurt but knew this was important to Bakugou. She bit her bottom lip wondering what she should do.

"I want to confirm exactly what's so great about you..." Bakugou said. "That All Might himself would go that far for you. If your aspiration was so much greater than mine...then does that mean my aspirations were wrong the whole time?!"

"Kacchan?" MIdoirya said softly.

"If you don't want to get hurt, then put up your fists!" Bakugou said as she stretched a bit. "Oh that's right, You're going with kicks now aren't you?" Bakugou launched himself at Midoriya and they began to fight.  Valkyr gripped on to the wall as she watched the two fight. She wanted to stop them. She wanted to call out to them. But something kept stopping her. She felt like there was more to Bakugou's pain that he had yet to reveal. She had noticed things were off with him since they got back but she just put it off to what happened. And then the provisional license. Something was bothering him and he wouldn't even tell her what it was.
