Ch 29: Surprise

Valkyr came back up to her room after taking a shower. She had on a robe and was drying her hair with a towel. She paused when she noticed a black dress and high heels. Then she noticed the small hand bag and even jewelry. She walked over confused and saw the note. 

"Wear this. I'll pick you up in a hour."

Valkyr smirked as shook her head and began to get ready. This was just like out of a book or romance movie. Though she couldn't say she wasn't a bit excited. This honestly didn't seem like his style. Soon she was dressed and ready to go. Though she kept her hair down to semi hid her face. She still got flustered about her appearance when it came to things like this. 

Valkyr attempted to walk in the heels and stumbled a bit. She was really not comfortable in these. She kicked them off and pulled on her knee high leather boots. They had a slight heel but nothing like the heels she had been left. She fiddled with the necklace and frowned. It didn't feel like her. She took it off and put on a choker that had been a gift from a certain loud mouth step father. She looked in the mirror and felt a bit better. 

   Valkyr heard a knock at the door and smiled. She walked over and opened it but was surprised by a certain red head, though he was just dressed in casual clothes. "Eiji?" Valkyr asked surprised. 

"Woah, Valkyr, you look amazing." Kirishima exclaimed. He looked her up and down. "Where are you going?"

"Well I got left a dress and a note saying to be ready," Valkyr said. 

"With who?" Kirishima asked, though he already had an idea. 

"With me," a voice came from behind him. Kirishima turned to see Bakugou in a nice outfit. Dress pants, a red button down, with a black dress vest.  Valkyr smiled seeing him. 

"How'd you get permission to take her off campus?" Kirishima asked. 

"I asked," Bakugou said smartly. He made Kirishima step aside and looked at Valkyr. "You look amazing, but you changed a couple things."

"There was no way I could walk in such high heels," Valkyr smiled. "And I just didn't feel comfortable in that other necklace. To glamorous for me. I like this one, so much simpler." Bakugou nodded. 

"I'll remember that," Bakugou smiled. 

"You can't honestly be thinking to take her our after everything that just happened," Kirishima interrupted. 

"That's exactly why I am taking her out," Bakugou said looking at Kirishima. "Her and I just went through a week of hell. Her more than I. Since we got back we've been moved here and all everyone is worried about is what will happen the next time the villains show up. She deserves at least one night of fun and not worrying about anything." Kirishima couldn't say anything against that. He thought the same thing. Bakugou held an arm out to Valkyr who took her arm. "So back off. I got permission from Nezu and Aizawa." He began to lead Valkyr down and out. They got a lot of looks from others who were mingling about. 

Bakugou took her to a nice place for dinner. A bit fancier than she was used to. "This doesn't seem to be your style," Valkyr said smiling at him. 

"Well you've been reading all those damn romance novels." Bakugou sighed. "I wanted to do something nice and normal for you." Valkyr chuckled. 

"You don't have to do things like this Katsuki," Valkyr chuckled. "We aren't normal. I'm the daughter of a villain and we are both in training to be heroes. Plus we were kind of kidnapped not to long ago. There is nothing normal about our lives." She smiled. "Be yourself Katsuki. Don't try to change yourself to impress me. This is more something Eiji or maybe even Izu would do. I'd rather spend the night at our favorite arcade or at the gym with you. Or even in one of our rooms watching those action animes or playing video games."

Bakugou sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Damn it. I guess I really am trying to hard."

"I appreciate it though Katsuki," Valkyr told him. "Lets have a good dinner and then go do something fun." Bakugou smiled and nodded.  

They had a good dinner with great conversation. Then they went to the arcade near by. They were so over dressed for the place and kept getting weird looks but they had a great time. She was laughing and smiling like she hadn't in quite a while.  it was good to have fun. 

They were heading back towards the dorm. "So I got this invitation for the weekend." Bakugou said. "I get to bring two people with me to some event. I want to take you and shit for brains."

"Oh really?" Valkyr asked interested. "Where to?"

"Some high tech island for their event." Bakugou shrugged. "I got it because I won the sports festival." 

"Sounds like fun," Valkyr smiled. "Hopefully i don't have to wear things like this."

"Well it does say we can bring our hero outfits and something nice if we want to go to some party," Bakugou said.  

"Now it really sounds interesting," Valkyr smiled. "Hopefully dad doesn't mind."

"Already talked to Aizawa. Its far away from here and there is no way villains can get in," Bakugou said. "So he said it was ok. We leave tomorrow."

"Well I'll pack tonight then," Valkyr smiled. "So I'm staying with you right?"

"Of course," Bakugou said. "We will all be staying in one room."

Valkyr smirked. "Good thing I have no problem sleeping with both of you." She chuckled. She leaned up and kissed his cheek. 

"Is that all i get after tonight?" Bakugou teased. Valkyr smiled and leaned up and kissed his lips gently. "Thats better." he whispered against her lips. Then deepened the kiss. Valkyr pulled away from him and smiled. 

"You're something else Katsuki," Valkyr smirked. "Lets head inside. I have to pack for the trip and then try to get some sleep."

"I'm already packed, so Ill stay with you tonight," Bakugou said. "I'll make sure you get some sleep." He kissed her temple. "Lets go." He lead her inside.

Sorry for such a long wait. Been working 50-60 hours a week. 

Also I am leading into the movie, Two Heros. So if you don't want any spoilers I suggest not reading the next chapters.
