‘Ring Ring Ring Ring!’

“Beyoncé your phone is ringing!”  Cori screamed from her position on the couch in the movie room.

“Stop yelling, I’m right here. And I’m not deaf girl, I can hear it.” Bey said grabbing her phone from the table. Bey looked at the caller ID and didn’t recognize the number so she ignored the call.

“Same number?” Cori asked.

Bey nodded. “I need to get my number changed.”

“I guess.” Cori shrugged. Her phone started ringing.

“Cori your phone is ringing!” Bey screamed from the lazy boy chair.

“Nice one mom.” Cori said as she picked up her phone.

 “Hello.”

“Hey baby.” D said.

“Why your voice so deep?” Cori asked.

“What you don’t like my deep voice?” D asked over the phone.

“I love it.” Coir said as a smile started to creep on her face.

“But to answer your question, I just woke up from a nap.”

“You always sleeping.”

“Yeah whatever.” D said.

“Tell D I said hey.” Bey said throwing popcorn in her mouth.

“My mom said hey.” Coir said on the phone.

“Tell her I said was sup.”

“He said was sup.” Cori said to her mom.

“Can I come over?” D asked.

“Not unless you want Jay to kill you.” Cori said.

“Please. Come on, as much as we talk I know they know something is going on.” D said over the phone.

“But that’s the thing. We agreed on being just friends remember?” Cori said.

“Nah ma. I don’t remember agreeing to that.”

“I do. I said no because you have a girlfriend.”

Bey almost chocked on her popcorn. “He has a girlfriend!?” Bey mouthed to Cori.

Cori nodded.

“Fine. Then can I come over as a friend?”

Cori sighed. “Let me ask.” Cori looked at Bey. “D wants to know if he can come over.”

“That’s fine. As long as he doesn’t bring his girlfriend.” Bey said.

“Bey said yeah, as long as you don’t bring your girlfriend, but I still need to ask Jay.” Cori said.

“That’s cool. I wouldn’t bring her anyway.” D said over the phone.

“Jay isn’t here. He took Blue to go play with North at Kim and Kanye’s an hour ago.” Bey said throwing more popcorn in her mouth.

“Oh, well Jay isn’t here so I obviously can’t ask him.” Cori said over the phone.

“Well, I guess it looks like I’m coming over.” D said.

“Yeah, I guess you are. I’ll text you the address.”

“Alright. Bye.”

“Bye.” Cori said. She hung up the phone and texted him the address.
