I don't know what it is about him...

He's annoying. He just can't keep to himself.

"Stop holding my hand, or I'll leave." I warn him.

"But it's so soft." he tells me. I pull my hand away and keep them crossed over my chest. He laughs and sits back. "Such a fighter." he says.

"Just cut the crap Damien. Tell me what you know."

"Maybe I shouldn't say..." he begins and I push myself forward.

"Screw you Damien!" I pull back and regret ever stepping foot into the diner.

"I shouldn't have believed him at all." I mutter to myself as I get to my car. It's a good thing we took separate cars, I would be in hot soup if we didn't.

"Alexandra! Hold on!" he voices out to me.

"Leave me alone!" I argue back and enter the car. I start the engine and leave the diner for good. I look through the rear view mirror as I see him standing there alone.

Good riddance!

Driving down the road, I'm only ten minutes away till I reach the library. I stop at the red light like a good driver and go through the messages on my phone while I wait.

A loud honk scares me then as I immediately set the car to drive, but realise the traffic light is still red. I turn to the side of me and realise it was Damien in his silver mustang. He takes off his sunglasses and places them beside him as he rolls down the window.

That's when I get a message.

Pull over now! He texts me.

Leave me alone I text him back and keep my phone on silent.

The green light hits me then and I press on the gas. He doesn't give up though. He flashes his lights at me, telling me to pull over but I only drive away faster but he's on my tail, so much that he bangs my car. I'm pissed and turn to grab my phone to call him.

"Stop it Damien!" I shout over the phone.

"No! Pull over right now!" he shouts back at me.

"Why?"

"Just do it! Cut in to the right now!" he shouts over the phone. His tone is too serious that it drowns my anger. I take the risk and cut to the right, into an old road that nobody uses.

I pull my car over to the side then and get out.

I can see his car turning up to my side with his head out of the window. "Get in here!" he shouts at me. "I'm not getting into your car!" I yell back.

Suddenly, a huge arrow flies. It's a nanometre away from cutting through my nose.

It crosses my cheek and lands on to the bonnet of my car. The arrow is so strong that it's penetrated through the metal body of the car.

I'm laid there shook and watch as more arrows come at me. I quickly open the door of his car and get inside immediately. "Hang on!" he says. He steps on the gas hard that the sound of the car drifting into the wind scares me.

Somebody is trying to kill me.

"You're safe as long as you're in here. The car's impenetrable. I'm taking you back home." he tells me, "No! My parents are there. Just take me to your place." I instruct him.

"Are you sure?!" he asks surprised.

"YES! Now go faster!" I shout at him. He speeds off into the forest, on an unpaved pathway. The car skids by the pines trees and across the orange leaves.
