Glorybringer

Chapter 5

Glory woke up with Deathbringer holding her she didn't want to wake Deathbringer so she didn't move. She looked down and stared at Deathbringer's leg it was gone completely up to his hip bone so he couldn't ever get a prosthetic.

Glory new it was wrong to blame herself but, she still did. She couldn't help thinking if she had made him go to the healers hut when he first complained he would still have his leg.

 After brushing off the thought she was almost back to sleep when Deathbringer said

"Do you want me to get you something my queen?"

"No I will get us breakfast you stay here" Argued Glory standing up bonking her head on the roof

"No you are a queen you deserve the best"

"Just because I am a queen doesn't mean I can't get my own food" Said Glory chukling

They continued arguing till Deathbringer thought of a solution

"You can get the food but, I get to come protect you" said Deathbringer smugly

"Fine" Said Glory with a smile on her face she definitely let Deathbringer win this fight on purpose because one, she wanted him to come and two, it makes him feel smug and more like himself.

Glory helped Deathbringer out of the cave and when her scales touched his she felt herself turn pink. She probably looked more like Kinkajou than herself.

Glory and Deathbringer went over to the river it was painfully slow to get there but, once they were there neither of them had any problem catching fish.

Glory had just dived down to get a fish and when she came back up Deathbringer was gone 'where could he have go-' Glorys thought was cut short because she felt a sharp pain in her neck like something had bit her or... she felt around her neck to the part the pain was coming from and she pulled out a sleeping dart

"Oh no!" Was the last words she managed to say before she blacked out

I know it is short but, I already updated twice today so I don't know why I wrote more but whatever hope you enjoyed...the cliffhanger muahahahaha
