SPECIAL CHAPTER

Soobin stumbled slightly down his hallway as he made his way towards his bedroom. His jacket was left on the living room couch. It was the night of New Years, and Soobin had been at Jimin's house party drinking. He didn't drink much, but just enough to struggle with balance.

He entered his room and shut the door behind him by kicking it.

"HI!" Huening Kai jumped out towards Soobin, wrapping his around the older's neck and tackled him on the bed. Soobin landed on his back with Huening Kai on top of him hugging.

"K-Kai what are you doing here?!" Soobin looked at the clock on the nightstand and saw it was past 2 am.

"Jungkook went out with his friends for the New Year and Beomgyu and Yeonjun went to a party but I didn't want to go so they dropped me off here"

"S-So Jungkook doesn't know you're here?"

"Nope!"

"Maybe you should go back, I don't want you to get in trouble, I'll walk you and-"

"But it's the New Year! I wanted to spend it with you" Huening Kai hugged tighter. Soobin sighed and closed his eyes, letting his arms wrap around Kai's body; pulling the boy closer. He could smell the shampoo that Huening uses. The smell of coconuts. He knows its creepy to smell someone, but it's hard not to when the scent is literally in front of your nose. Kai had his face buried in Soobin's neck.

"Why didn't you want to go with your friends to the party?" Soobin asked Kai.

"Because it's boring"

"I'm even more boring. Especially now." Soobin admitted. Huening rolled over and adjusted himself to where his head was laying on Soobins chest while he patted the older boy's belly, a habit of his.

"I don't think you're boring"

"You're too sweet," Soobin noticed Huening looked like he had something on his mind. The boy kept spacing out and looked a little confused.

"What's wrong?" Soobin asked.

"Mmm.. today Beomgyu asked me something"

"What did he ask?"

"He asked what we were"

"Oh"

"And I didn't know how to answer!" Huening Kai suddenly sat up "There was so many answers to his question. I feel like we're best friends, and family, and partners in crime, but then we kiss, and I get sad when you're not around, and I get jealous, and when I don't see your face I get moody, and I don't know what to call that. I have a crush on you romantically and platonically, I don't know what to call us, I don't know what to call you" Kai huffed out his cheeks slightly from being upset. Soobin lifted himself up on his elbow before speaking.

"I just want to be next to you. What would you call that?"

"I... I don't know" Huening Laid his head down on Soobins lap.

"Let's figure it out together then," Soobin said while he ran his fingers through Huenings dark soft hair. He moved the younger's hair away from his forehead so he could see all of Huening's beautiful face.

"I'd like that"

DID YOU KNOW?

This book idea came to me after watching Kai's introduction video. When I heard him bite into the chip I jokingly thought 'hahaha I fell in love at first crunch!' then I was like' WRITE THAT DOWN!'

LAFC was originally and YeonKai FF, and I had 6-7ish chapters written prior to posting but changed it to SooKai last second because writing SooKai felt more natural.

I started writing this pre-debut /.\ I was really shy I'd get judged for posting a FF so early and even debated on not posting it at all but I ended up posting it on impulse lol.

I almost made this a mafia/gang related book but my heart wanted fluff and angst-less drama.

The first time Soobin met and punched Taehyun was because Soobin got a higher test grade than Taehyun and the two got in a fight over it.

I put a lot of symbolism in my stories, I don't know if I mentioned but the bracelets Soobin and Kai have are yellow and blue because of TXT (It was probably more of the obvious ones lol) and they each have a bead from the others bracelet so that way they will always be together some way.

A lot of the funny things Beomgyu and Yeonjun say happened to me in real life.

In case of any confusion; Jimin is like Soobin's older brother.

I can't think of anything else interesting to tell about this story? last time I checked I was # 3 on SooKai so thats cool!

HAHA SO funny story, I wrote this special chapter because Love at First Crunch had 2k reads and over 400 votes, and I checked rn and it has 3k reads!? THANKS GUYS you're all so sweet and your comments make my day, and even when I feel like I didn't write my best you all still have such nice things to say so I tried to make this extra cute and a little special IDK but i'm gonna update again today so
