Ash's Point of View.

"May race ako" Singit ko sa daldalan nila. Napatahimik sila at napatingin sakin. Wow. Shock much?

"Ke-Kelan? nauutal na tanong ni Tiffany. Why do they all looked worried or something?

"Uh..This monday pratice na ko with the group so bukas ng gabi aalis na ko papuntang LA" Napanganga naman si Tiffany. Si Atilah naman nanatiling nakayuko at nilalaro ang mga daliri niya.

"Seriously Ash? Why so sudden? At sa LA pa talaga ah. Is it a big race?" Kevin asked and took a sip from his beer.

"Yeah i guess its a big race. Kung maliliit na race naman matatanggihan yon ni Tyrone pero hindi eh big race daw talaga. Actually international race siya and ako ang lalabas sa pilipinas" Ngayon napatingin na si Atilah sakin. She also looked worried. I gave her a small kiss on her forehead and smiled a little.

"D-Do you really have to go?" She asked. I can see the pain in her eyes. baby just tell me not to go and i wont.

"Maybe" Was all i can say. Napalitan ng katahimikan ang titigan ang kaninang malakas na tawanan at daldalan.

"Man how long before you get back?" Arthur asked.

"3 weeks. International kasi to eh madaming magagaling na kalaban so i have to focus. Kakabisaduhin ko pa yung track. " Ininom ko ang beer ko at naramdaman ko ang pag sandal ni Atilah sa balikat ko. Inakbyan ko nga at inilapit pa lalo sakin. 

"You ok?" Tanong ko sakaniya.

"Yeah im just tired" She replied. Nilapag ko sa mesa ang hawak kong bote ng beer at bumaling sakaniya.

"Wanna go back? get some rest?" Tanong ko sakaniya. She just nodded.

"Cmon guys inaantok na to. Dito muna kayo o mauna na kami?" I asked them.

"Nah. You two go ahead. Inom lang kami dito" Tiffany replied. Im happy that she's not torturing me to get back to her. Baka natauhan na.

"Ok then. Just call someone to help you guys if you need anything" Tumango naman sila at pinagpatuloy ang inuman.

Me and Atilah head back to the mansyon. It was so dark and i guess its almost mid night. Ang bilis ng oras. I only have one day to say something..to confess. Darn.. ang duwag ko. I wanna tell her so bad pero hindi ko alam pano.

"You sure youre alright?" I asked her once again. She gave me a smile but not the smile i always want to see.

"I'm fine. Im just tired thats all" I dont know what to do or to say after that..Should i kiss her? Should i hug her? Should i. ..Ugh! Tumango nalang ako at pumasok na sa kwarto ko. I heard her door closed..pumasok na din siguro siya.

Its almost 3 am but i still cant sleep! Puro si Atilah nalang ang nasa utak ko. I cant be like this in the race! I should do this confessing thing right now! Walang atubili na lumabas ako sa kwarto ko at kumatok sa kwarto niya. Nakailang katok na ko pero di niya pa din binubuksan. I was about to open her door until...

"Hey" I heard her voice behind me. I face my back and i saw her wearing a white spaggetti strap tee and a mint pajama. Nakalaglag lang ang buhok niya at mukang hindi sinuklay which makes her look hotter. Wait..i shouldnt think about this stuff right now! Get a grip Ash Savier Saavedra!

"Bakit gising ka pa?" Tanong ko sakaniya. Nagkibit balikat siya at napansin ko ang hawak hawak niyang baso ng gatas.

"You cant sleep?" I asked again.

"Maybe..i dont know.." She sighed. Nabalot ng katahimikan ang paligid. This is awkward! I have to say something.

"Is that milk?"

"You want some?"

Magkasabay kaming nagsalita. Damn! This is really awkward. Grow some balls man! Oh! I have an idea!

"Do you want to..Uhm.. Go upstairs? " may mga upuan sa rooftop namin kaya nagmistulang tambayan iyon. Madalas kami ni Ashley dun noon, looking for shooting stars. 

"Sure." She smiled. This is it Ash!

"Wooow!!" She said as we enter the rooftop. Tanging liwanag lang ng buwan ang nagbinigay linaw sa
buong rooftop kaya talagang napakaganda dito.

"Atilah..What if i told you...That.." ugh! Shit! I canf find the right words!

"What?" Tanong niya pa. Huming ako ng malalim bago muling magsalita.

"I love you" Nanlaki ang mga mata niya. Wait..what does that mean? Is it a good thing or a bad thing? Tahimik lang siya na nakatingin sakin. Is that it? wala ba talagang sinasagot pag nag coconfess ang lalaki?

"Uh..Can you say something.." Napakamot ako sa batok ko at tumingin sa ibang direksyon. I can feel my face burning up. My heart is no where to be found. It feels like theres a party inside my body. I can feel my heart beating fast, Flying animals inside my stomach..etc etc...

"I'd like that.." She smiled. She smiled from ear to ear. Even her eyes are full of joy.

"You like what? what do you mean?" She giggled a little before looking at me straight into my eyes.

"I love you too Ash"
