Chapter 44: SAMUEL
The team took no time to register that impending doom was on the plane. Everyone sat up at once, grabbing parachutes out of the side compartments. Alice ran to the table where her rifle lay, and slung it over her shoulder. She reached for a parachute, and began to pull the straps over her shoulders and tighten the belts.
"Masks! Oxygen! We need to get this gear on now!"
Alice grabbed a mask. It covered the whole face, with large, tinted, insect-sized eye lenses. She pulled a white balaclava over her head, then put the mask on. The hose went from the beak that was around her chin was required to be connected to a tank of oxygen. She reached for one.
Then the plane broke in half.
