Tinitigan ko si Starr na mahimbing ang tulog na nakahiga sa kama ko. Pagkagaling namin sa psychiatrist ay dito kami sa condo dumiretso para makapagpahinga siya. She argued that she wasn't tired but I insisted. Alam ko kung gaano kahirap magkaroon ng PTSD.

When Asher went missing before, I was still a kid. I wasn't the one who got kidnapped but it still gave me a little mental scar. I couldn't contain the guilt, I felt like it was my fault why he went missing. I blamed myself silently to the point that it made me physically tired to even wake up every mornings.

Kaya alam ko na nakakapagod.

True to my assumptions, Starr immediately fell asleep twenty minutes after we arrived. Nakipag-usap lang siya sandali kina Storm at Winter bago siya nagsabi sa akin na inaantok daw siya. Nagpunta pa sa kwarto niya dati sa may kusina and she was surprised to see that her things weren't there anymore. I got all of it transferred to my room.

Siyempre, promoted na si Reyna. Dapat pati tulugan niya dito sa condo, improved na. So dito na rin siya sa kwarto ko. As if I would still let her sleep in her former room. Alam ko namang komportable rin doon pero iba pa rin iyong katabi niya ako.

Mas comfortable.

Binantayan ko lang si Starr habang natutulog siya. I sat beside her on my bed, reading documents and other work stuff. Wala rin naman akong ginagawa kaya mas mabuti nang magpaka-productive ako para may trabaho akong matapos. I knew I should spend more time with Starr and that was actually my plan. Kahit pa masagasaan ang oras ko para sa trabaho ay ayos lang basta masiguro ko na maayos si Starr. She's my outmost priority right now and I promised myself that I'd drop anything and everything just for her.

I am considering even dropping what my parents had planned for me way back just for her. Para kay Starr, kahit ano kaya kong isakripisyo.

"Kal." Starr said hoarsely as she slowly woke up from her nap. She sleepily pushed herself up the bed and sat. "Anong oras na?"

"It's already six in the evening." Malambing kong sabi. Umalis ako sa pagkakasandal sa kama at umusod palapit sa girlfriend kong busy pa rin mag-inat. Hinagod ko ang likod niya. Starr shivered from the cold, napasobra yata ang lamig ng kwarto ko. "Are you cold?"

"Medyo." Parang wala sa sarili pa ring sabi ni Starr. I chuckled. How can this girl be this so damn cute? "Lakas naman ng aircon mo anong feeling mo karne ka na dapat i-freezer?"

Malakas na tawa ang isinagot ko sa tanong ni Starr. She just never failed to make me laugh like this. No, she just doesn't make me laugh, she makes me happy. The happiest I could ever be.

Only Starr could do that, it was confirmed.

Matapos mag-ayos ni Starr nang kanyang sarili ay magkahawak kamay na lumabas kami ng kwarto. Pagkabukas ko pa lang ng pinto ay ang malakas na usapan ng mga bugok agad ang narinig namin. Napailing na lang ako, my lips forming a small smile of affection for all the people that recided here in this living space.

"Bakit kasi hinalo mo 'yong mo
mango graham eme? Di na tuloy masaya kainin." Nakangusong sabi  ni Miggy kay Asher. Mabilis naman na ninakawan ng tukmol ng halik sa labi si Miggy. Mabilis din na may tumamang unan sa ulo ni Asher dahil binato siya ni Jareth.

"Sinabi nang bawal magtukaan sa harap ng anak ko!" Jareth hissed. Inirapan siya ni Asher. He even stuck his tongue out.

"Inggit ka lang kasi wala kang matuka." Parang bata na sabi ni Asher na mabilis na ikina-kunot ng noo ni Jareth.
