A sob gurgled in my throat. Donnie just stood in the doorway sadly. I slowly sink to my knees, clutching my face again.

"Hey, it's not that bad..." He soothed, suddenly in front of me.

"You sure?" I whimper.

"Yeah."

I bite my lip, consider the consequences, then throw my arms around his neck. He freezes in my embrace, then hesitantly places his hands on my waist. I bury my face in his shoulder. He adjusts his grip, moving one hand to my back and the other to my hair. It's odd, but I can feel something move in my chest. Something that tells me I shouldn't let go. Funny, right?

"Hey Maggie?"

"Yeah?"

"I missed you too."
