Sidewalks. Oh, how I missed them. It was just after sunset on that night in December. And I was going home. Home! I smiled at the thought. Don't get me wrong, I love the guys, but that's not my home.

I carefully opened the door to the large apartment. Lynn met me at the door.

"WHO THE- Maggie? I-is that... Really you?" She asked tears brimming her eyes.

"Well, it certainly isn't Avril Lavigne." I reply sarcastically. Lynn pulls me into a tight hug and starts bawling like a child. Aunt Nora, Uncle Tim, and Andy come downstairs to investigate. I'm quickly covered in a group hug comprised of adults crying their eyes out and asking me questions about what happened to my eye, what happened in general, and where I was. Then the children parted the crowd with one word spoken in unison.

"M-Mommy?"
