The books immediately fall, and I pick them up piece by piece.
"Y-you just demonstrated a fascinating ability! You just levitated every possession in this room at least six inches, but you seemed to have lost the ability only about thirty seconds after you first displayed telekinesis!" Donnie spouted, an adorkable grin spreading across his face and displaying his adorable gap.
"Babe, I was there. I know that's how you deal with things, but I know. I was there..." I send a shuriken a foot to his left, making him jump. I wink and shelve the books. He yanks the shuriken out of the wall and sends it a few inches to my right. I snatch it out of the air as it passes. I put away all my weapons and head past Donnie, but he doesn't let me get far before being a bit flirty.
He turns me around and gives me a hug. It reminded me... Christmas was coming up.
