I push aside the manhole cover. Donnie was asleep, and I needed the fresh air. I hear a large thud, like someone falling. Like the true idiot I am, I listen, trying to pinpoint where it came from. Then I check it out. What I find is a big shock. It's a mutant! I edge closer. Another... Turtle? I pick up a pipe and poke the other turtle with it. Nothing. I flip it over and place a hand where its heart should be. It's beating strongly.
I can't just leave it here! Humans would freak out! After a bit, I decide to take it into the sewers and to the lair. Oh, the fun waiting down there is enormously scary!
