Life goes back to the way it was. Leo is a bit uneasy around me, Raph is completely ignoring me, I'm Mikey's mother more or less, and Donnie wants me around as he experiments.

"Yeah?"
"Do you like me?"
"What do you mean?"
"Do you enjoy my company?"
"Of course."
"More than anyone else's?"
"Ooooh... I see where this is going. And, well, I do, actually."
"Y-you do?"
"Did I stutter?"
"O-okay... No one's ever, well..."
I press a finger to his lips. "You've done this before?"
"No, but I can read people."
"Not well."
"Insults?"
"The truth."
He chuckles. "Thanks Maggie."
"It's what I'm here for. Wait, I'm healed! Remind me why I can't see my family."
"You aren't healed enough."
"And?"
"I have to make sure Shredder thinks you're dead first."
"You mean... Wow. Does he know how to let go? It's been months. You sure that's the only reason?"
"No."
"Okay then..."
