"Hello Dare" he greets through the phone. "Hi Cade" he greets back. "Why did you call?" He asks him. "We need to talk" he replies. "About what?" He questions. "You already know what" he answers him in a bit of an annoyed tone. "Calum?" He asks for confirmation. "Obviously" he replies.
"You do know that he isn't me or the 'key to getting the ultimate revenge' on me right?" Darren questions his elder brother curiously. "That isn't right" he answers him. "I can assure you it is" he replies. "I'm not falling for that" he responds. "Whatever. Just stop messing with him" he responds back. "Fine" he replies. "I'm done wasting my time on you. Bye" he responds and cuts the call.
"What did he want?" Daphne asks Cade curiously. "He wants me to stop messing with Calum" he replies. "We aren't gonna do that" she responds. "Yeah" he responds back. "You didn't mention our plan did you?" She questions him. "Nope, I wouldn't do that" he answers her. "That's good" she replies.
He's up to something... he's not saying much which is a sign that he's trying not to spill something. I don't get why he thinks that hurting Calum is gonna hurt me it's not like we're linked or something. Darren thinks to himself.
"When and how are we gonna let this plan unfold?" Cade asks Daphne. "Really soon and I'm unsure" she replies. "We gotta figure that out" he responds. "That's true" she responds back.
Why the hell does Cade think that the way to get revenge on Darren is through me? Can't he just leave me alone? I wonder if Cade thought the way to get revenge on Darren was through Valley back when Darren was controlling her mind? Why did Darren choose to control my mind anyway? Calum thinks to himself.
"We could send them a letter?" Cade suggests to Daphne. "Hmm... I like the sound of that" she replies. "That's good" he responds. "What do we write?" She questions. "We tell all of them except Calum to meet us somewhere and put some kind of threat if they don't show up" he answers. "How about we ask them to meet us at the forest near here?" She asks. "I'm cool with that" he responds.
I need to see Valley again... the last time I saw her my thoughts were a mess and confusion took over... then I left on a strange note... I didn't explain myself properly... she probably was worried about me... I mean she did kind of seem like she was... I gotta let her know I'm okay... Calum thinks to himself.
Daphne picks up a pen and a piece of paper. She begins to write a letter to Michael, Luke and Ashton. Cade helps her with a few of the sentences and gives her ideas. "Do we write a seperate one for Calum too?" He questions her. "Yeah, but after we get the attention of his friends" she answers. "Sounds like a plan" he replies.
Calum goes downstairs and tells his friends where he's going and leaves his house. He walks towards the nightclub.
Daphne finishes writing the letter with Cade's help. She puts it in an envelope and seals it. "We gotta deliver this somehow" she tells him. "Let's drive to his house we don't need to stop the car infront of his house and can walk to his with the car a few miles away" he replies. "Sure" she replies. She picks up a bag and slips the letter inside it. She then slings the bag over her shoulder. The both of them then hop into Cade's car. They stop the car quarter way to his house. "You stay here I'll deliver this" she tells him gesturing to her bag actually meaning to gesture to the content in the bag. "You sure you don't want me to go with you?" He questions feeling a bit uneasy about her decision. "I'll be fine" she answers him. "Okay" he replies.
On his way to the nightclub Calum sees someone recognisable going in the opposite direction of him. "Daphne!" He calls and stops walking to look back in her direction. She stops walking too. "Calum!" she calls back. "Long time no see" he replies. "Yeah I've been busy" she responds. "So, where you going?" He asks. She pauses thinking of a reply. She definitely can't say she's going to his house. "Oh umm... I'm meeting an old friend at a cafe, what about you?" She replies and asks him the question back. "Oh okay... I'm just gonna go to that nightclub" he answers. "Okay, I've really gotta go, but I'll see you around" she replies. "Alright, yep I guess I'll see you later" he replies and they both continue walking.
She seemed suspicious almost like she was up to something. Could she be working with Cade? She took a long pause before replying when I asked her where she was going. I know she is playing some kind of game too that's why she nearly drained me of my blood. Calum thinks to himself as he keeps walking to the nightclub.
Why did I have to bump into him of all people? I think I made him even more suspicious of me. How do I make him less suspicious of me? Daphne thinks to himself.
Calum finally reaches the nightclub. He goes to the bar section. "Hey Val, can we talk?" He greets and asks her a question. "Hi Cal, sure just let me finish up" she greets back and answers his question. "Okay" he replies whilst going to find a booth to sit at.
Valley finishes what she was doing and goes to the booth Calum is seated at. "I'm sorry that I left so quick during our last interaction" he tells her. "It's okay" she replies. "I just disappeared without an explanation" he responds. "You don't need to explain yourself" she responds back. "I just feel the need to" he replies.
Daphne finally arrived to Calum's house. She walks slowly towards his door and takes the letter out of her bag. She then slips the letter though his letter flap and walks back to where Cade parked the car.
"I was just so confused that everyone insisted that what happened didn't happen but I believed it did... then I just left cause I needed to sort through my thoughts... I didn't mean to just rush off like that I just wasn't in a good mindset" Calum explains to Valley. "It's fine I get it, Darren used to put me into a strange mindset sometimes too" she replies to his explanation. "This was Cade though" he responds to her. "Oh, Cade would try to help me" she responds back.
"What took you so long?" Cade asks Daphne as she approaches the car. She opens the door and sits inside. "I crossed parts with him on the way" she replies. "Who?" He asks. "Calum" she replies. "What?!" He replies shocked.
