"I thought you made him forget about it?" Valley questions Daphne. "I did, but he somehow managed to break the spell" she answers her. "How did he manage that?" She questions. "We aren't sure, we just know he did" she answers her. "I think my brother was involved" Cade adds to her answer. "Have you tried asking either of them, how they managed to break the spell?" She asks them. "Yeah, and we got no proper answers" he replies to her.
"I'm gonna take some time away from your mind control to figure out how to stop you from playing your games" Calum tells Darren. "You can't do that" he replies to him through his thoughts. "Of course I can and I'll have my next moves all figured out before you know it" he replies back. "What? How? I don't believe you" he responds to him. "Well you're just gonna have to wait and see" he responds back.
"Maybe I could try and get it out of Calum?" Valley tells them. "That's a terrible idea" Daphne replies to her. "I agree" Cade replies back. "What's so terrible about it?" She questions them. "He's mad at you. He could end up hurting you" she answers her. "I won't allow him to hurt me" she replies to them. "No you aren't doing that. I will try getting it out of my brother again" he replies to her. "Why can't you let me take the risk in asking Calum?" She asks them. "He might murder you" she replies to her. "He hasn't got the weapons to kill me" she replies back. "I'll try my best to get it out of Dare first then if he doesn't tell me you try asking Calum" he tells her. "Okay fine" she replies to him.
Cade goes to Darren's house and rings his doorbell hoping he'll let him in. Darren looks through the peep-hole at the door. He then has a debate with himself on whether he should let Cade in or not. He finally gives in and opens the door to let his brother into his house. "What do you want?" He questions him as soon as he enters. "How do you know about what happened during my plan with Daph?" He asks as an answer to his question. "I don't want to discuss that with you" he replies to him.
Would leaving home for a bit actually help lose the connection that Darren has to my mind or not? I guess I'm just gonna have to wait to find out. It's just a theory that he would lose the connection he has to my mind. I'm really counting on the theory to be true, it'll give me some much needed time away from him annoying me a lot of the time. I also need to think of ways to get him out of my mind since everytime I try to he shows up and makes me lose track of my thought. If it doesn't work out I'm just gonna have to let the game run the way he wants it to. Calum thinks to himself.
"Why can't you just tell me?" Cade asks Darren. "I don't trust you one bit Cade" he replies to him. "Why don't you trust me Dare?" He questions him. "You wanna know why I don't trust you Cade then be ready for a long list of reasons" he answers him. "I'd love to hear it" he replies. "One you never bothered to do anything when mum would lock me in that room while dad was away, two you never ever even spoke to me when we were younger, three you murdered the only person I did trust; dad, four you turned Daphne against me and five you keep interfering in my games and ruining them. I could go on but I would rather not waste my voice on you so I just listed the ones I think are the main ones" he replies back. "I thought we moved past all that" he responds. "I'd say four and five are still pretty relevant considering they're still carrying on" he responds back. "I can have my fun playing games as you like to call it too" he replies. "Alright, how about we make a deal?" He asks his elder brother. "That is?" He replies to him. "I'll tell you how I know about your plan with Daphne if you remove all the control you have over Calum's mind and don't even attempt to try and gain it back again" he explains the deal.
"What's taking Cade so long?" Valley asks Daphne. "I'm not really sure but my guess is Dare isn't telling him and Cade isn't giving up on figuring it out" she replies to her. "Do you actually trust Cade?" She questions Daphne. "Well, not really if I'm being completely honest with you but he has something over Dare and that's what makes my games a lot more interesting" she answers her. "Why can't you just try gaining control over Calum's mind too?" She asks her. "I can't, my magic isn't complex enough to actually place myself in someone else's mind as I please" she replies. "I can try getting into his mind then you don't need to pretend trust Cade" she replies back. "No Valley don't as it is two vampires trying to control someone's mind is dangerous he might end up dead if you try getting in his head too" she responds. "Oh okay" she replies.
"I'm not accepting that deal" Cade tells Darren. "Oh well, too bad then you'll never find out how I know about your plan with Daphne" he replies to him. "Okay fine it's a deal" he accepts his brother's deal. "Okay then you get out of Calum's head and I'll tell you" he replies. "I'll do it and I'll be right back here once it's done" he replies. He then leaves Darren's house.
"Hey Calum" Cade greets Calum through his thoughts. "What now Cade?" He questions without greeting him back. "I need you to meet me in the forest you know the one we led you and your friends to" he answers him. "Why?" He asks him. "I need to discuss something important" he replies. "Fine I'll be there, when do you want me to leave?" He replies and asks him a question. "Like really soon" he answers. "Okay, I'll see you soon then" he replies back. Calum gets ready and goes towards the forest.
"Do you think I should try getting how they know out of Calum?" Valley questions Daphne. "No, wait for Cade to get back to us with some info" she answers her. "But he's not back yet, if he can't get it out of Dare can't he just tell us that" she replies. "You're being too impatient Valley just let him do whatever he's doing for however long he wants to" she replies back. "Alright then I guess I have to wait then" she responds.
Calum finally reaches the forest. "Cade?" He calls as he doesn't see him around yet. He wanders around for a bit. Then someone grabs him by the shoulder. He turns around frantically. "Geez Cade you scared the shit out of me!" He exclaims. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to creep you out" he replies. "It's fine" he replies back. "Okay" he responds to him. "Why did you ask me to come here?" He asks him. "I was discussing something with Dare and I thought maybe I should get out of your head" he replies. "Do it, it'll be better for me anyways" he replies back. "Would you prefer I do it out here or in Daphne's house?" He questions him. "Is that even a question? I hate Daphne's house. Out here is way better." He answers him. "Yep, but Dare can get to you easier here" he replies to him. "I trust Darren more than I trust Daphne" he replies back. "You do know you'll be unconscious when I do get out of your head right?" He asks him. "Of course I do but Daphne might try stealing my blood again or something so I prefer it here" he replies. "Fine suit yourself" he replies.
Cade's taking too long to do one simple task. He always delays everything like he has all the time in the world to do it. Why can't he just get himself out of Calum's head already? I think he's doing this on purpose. Does he think if he keeps delaying it I'll just forget about it? Well then he's wrong. Darren thinks to himself.
"I get out the same way I got in so your head is gonna hurt again" Cade tells Calum. "I don't care so long as you get out of my head" he replies. "Okay then" he replies back. He then walks up to him and places his hands around his head as he did when he got into his head that night. "Ouch!" He screams. The pain in his head seems to be worse than it was while he was getting in. He falls unconscious. He finally feels Calum's mind leave his hands. He then just leaves him there all alone in the darkess of the forest.
Cade walks back to Darren's house. He rings his doorbell. This time the door opens straight away. "I did it" he tells him "Okay, I'll tell you as I promised" he replies to him. "Go on then" he responds. "He came to that therapist's place again and I was pretending to be that guy we killed and he was kinda annoyed that he didn't know what happened during the plan and so I got through to his mind and helped him remember what your plan was and then he ended up telling me about it" he replies. "Thanks for keeping your end of the deal" he replies back. "No problem" he responds. "Okay, I gotta go" he replies about to walk out of his house but he stops him. "Where's Calum?" He questions. "He's in the forest" he answers walking out.
