Chapter 66 ● Things are getting out of control ○

"We should go back to Daphne's house she's on our side after all and she will help us" Cade suggests to Darren. "You mean you want to stay with Daphne and you want me to stay there too?" He asks him. "That's exactly what I'm suggesting, but it's up to you whether you want to or not" he replies to him. "I'm with you, let's go" he replies back.

I think I've thought of some scenarios to trap the both of them in. I'll put both of their consciousness in my mind soon. Calum thinks to himself.

Cade goes back to his house to pack the things he needs to stay at Daphne's house for a few days. Darren also packs a bag of his stuff that he needs to stay at Daphne's house for a few days. Then once they're both finished packing Cade meets Darren on the way and they reach Daphne's house. They ring her doorbell and she answers it just a few minutes later. "Hi you two" she greets them. "Hi" Cade greets back. "Hello" Darren greets too. "Will it be okay for us to stay with you while Calum's playing his games?" Cade asks Daphne. "Sure, you both can stay" she replies to him. "Thank you" Darren tells her. "You're welcome" she replies to him. The three of them then settle down in her living room.

Calum then traps both Cade and Darren's consciousness in his mind. In the thought he trapped them in they're the targets in a game of knife throw. "What do you think of this game?" Calum asks them. "Not a fan" Darren replies to him. "Amazing, what about you Cade?" He asks him. "Umm it's alright" he replies to him. "Fair warning I'm terrible at this game so expect to get hurt" Calum tells them. "I'm sure you're purposely being terrible at it since your aim is to hurt us" Cade tells him. "Yep, you're right" he replies to him. "So, which target do I throw this at first?" Calum asks them gesturing to a knife in his other hand.

He stole their consciousness again. Hasn't he had enough of this? I guess not. I think I should follow Cade and Darren's consciousness again. I could try to get Calum to stop doing this. I'm going to go there now. Daphne thinks to herself.

"Hey Calum" Daphne greets him. Calum flinches and drops the knife he was holding. "Hi, you here to be an audience?" Calum greets and asks her a question. "No, I'm here to stop you" she answers him. "Too bad, I'm not going to stop" he replies to her. He picks the knife up from the ground and throws it at Darren's forehead and Darren starts screaming in pain. "Don't you think you've done enough to torture them now?" Daphne asks him. "Nope, I still haven't hurt them enough" he replies to her. He then throws another knife this time at Cade's neck. He also screams in pain. "That's it! I'm bringing someone else in here to talk some sense into you" she replies to him. "Fine, do whatever you want" he replies back to her. Daphne then leaves Calum's mind.

Daphne then goes to Valley's house. She rings her doorbell. Valley opens the door after a little while. "You need to help me" Daphne tells her. "Help you with what?" She questions her. "Calum" she answers him. "I'm done with him" she replies to her. "Please you need to help me help him he's starting to take things too far with the whole messing with their heads thing, you've experienced something like this and you've probably thought of doing the things he's doing to them now at some point, you need to help him quit doing this" she replies to her. "Fine, I'll help" she responds to her. "Thanks so much" she responds back. "You're welcome" she replies to her.

Calum takes the knives out of their bodies. He swipes his finger over the knives and licks the blood off. "Almost time for a new thought" he tells them. "Good, I'm fed up of this one" Darren replies to him. Calum lets them out of his mind.

Both Valley and Daphne go to Daphne's house. "We're going to go inside Calum's mind?" Valley questions her. "Yes, we will be" she answers her. "Hi Cade, Hi Darren" Valley greets them as she noticed them. "Hey Valley" Cade greets her back. "Hello Valley" Darren greets her too. "Oh he let you both out" Daphne says to them. "Yeah, I don't think we're going to be out for long, he has something else planned for us apparently" Darren tells her. "What brings you here Valley?" Cade asks her. "Daphne wants me to help her get Calum to stop doing what he's doing to you both" she replies to him.
