Chapter 51 ● After the holiday ○

The week went by sooner than they expected it. "I can't believe we have to go back already!" Calum tells them as they pack up the last of their belongings. "I can't either, we have to get back to our lives eventually though" Luke replies to him. "We need to check out of the hotel now, the taxi to take us to the airport should be arriving in a few minutes" Ashton tells them. They all grab their luggage and leave the room.

"Can you please stop bothering me now? It's been a week and you've been constantly torturing me" Valley asks Darren. "I won't stop until I get the control I have Calum's mind back" he replies to her. "If you really cared that much about getting the control you had over his mind back why haven't you attempted to get it back this whole week instead of messing with me?" She questions him. "That's not entertaining enough" he answers her. "I seriously don't get you" she replies to him. "I know, you aren't supposted to" he replies back to her.

"I'm not prepared to go back and have Darren annoy me again" Calum tells his friends. "Just try what we discussed plan A you distract yourself and be really focused and concentrated on doing something, and plan B you deeply imagine yourself on holiday or just away from home when you feel like he's about to get to your mind" Ashton replies to him. "What if neither of them work?" Calum asks them. "Then at least we tried something, and have some faith in them they aren't that bad of plans" Luke replies to him. "I guess you're right" he replies back. The taxi stops and they all get out and walk towards the airport.

"You know I think these 'games' need to stop" Valley tells Darren. "They'll stop when I want them to" he replies. "Why are you even still playing them Dare? It's been years, haven't you gotten bored of them yet?" She questions him. "Do you ever get bored of eating?" He asks a questions to answer her. "Not even a similar comparison but okay" she answers him.

The four of them go through all the airport security checks and everything that needed to be done to get ready for their flight back. They then wait in the waiting area until their plane arrives. After a few minutes their plane finally reaches. They walk up the stairs to the plane with their luggage and when they're finally inside the plane they find their seats; luckily they are all seated together. Once they are comfortable in their seats the plane takes off.

"How is it not similar?" Darren questions Valley. "The major difference is most living things need to eat food to live a heathy life whereas you can live a perfectly healthy life without playing your dumb games, why do you think they're similar?" She answers him and asks him a question. "I'm just addicted to it just like how you're addicted to eating" he answers her. "Who the fuck told you I was addicted to eating?" She asks him. "I have been observing you very closely for a few years now Valley whenever you see food you have to have some" he replies to her. "That's not true" she replies back to him.

"I hope Darren forgot all about the control he had to my mind" Calum tells his friends. "There's a possibility that could be the case" Michael replies to him. "I hope that's the case" Ashton  replies to him. "I hope he's found someone else who deserves their mind to be messed with instead so he'll stop messing with you" Luke replies to him. "Yeah, I would hope he just stops messing with people's heads in general now" Calum replies back.

"It is true that you're always eating whenever you get the chance to" Darren tells Valley. "Is not" she replies. "Oh but it is" he replies back to her. "Is so not" she responds to him. "Are you just starting this lame argument to distact me?" He questions her. "I'm not gonna confirm or deny that" she answers him. "I should try seeing whether I can reach Calum's mind again" he tells her. "Why can't you leave him alone and just go back to controlling my mind?" She asks him. "He's more entertaining than you" he replies to her. "Oh come on Darren you know me better than you know him and I'll try my best to be more entertaining" she replies back to him. "Nope, I think I'll stick to my plan of trying to gain back the control of his mind" he responds to her. "Oh so I'm just your back up plan" she responds back to him. "Exactly" he replies to him. "What does he have that I don't?" She questions him. "He's more determined to rid his mind of my control than you are and it's entertaining to watch him fail each time" he replies to her. "If I'm not entertaining enough for you why don't you get out of my mind and I help you find another entertaining enough 'back up plan'? You know so if you never manage to get the control you have over Calum's mind back you wouldn't have to be stuck with me" she replies to him. "Stop trying to distract me Valley!" He shouts angrily. "Uh oh, looks like this vampire has a temper" she replies to him. "Shut up I'm trying to focus!" He shouts back in reply. "Please can I help you find another 'back up plan'?" She asks him. "Ugh fine" he replies to him. "Yay! Now let me out of your mind and visit me" she replies back to him. "Alright" he responds as he puts her consciousness back in her body and starts to get ready to see her.

A few hours pass and they finally reach back home. The plane lands and all the passengers leave the plane. They all do whatever checks and everything at the airport. "I can't wait to go back to my bed!" Calum tells his friends. "Me too" Michael replies to him. "Do we still need to stay at your house?" Luke asks Calum. "No, I guess you can go back home, I'll call you all if I need anything though" he replies to Luke. "Are you sure you're gonna be okay considering the fact that Darren can still get to you at anytime here?" Ashton asks Calum. "Ashton I'll be fine and if I'm not fine you guys will be the first people I call" he replies to him. "Let's get going" Michael tells them as he walks towards one of the taxis lined up at the exit of the airport. They all get in and go back to their own houses.

"Where do we go to?" Valley asks Darren as he visited her after he put her consciousness back in her body. "I say we go back to the nightclub" he replies to her. "But we always go there, how about we try somewhere different?" She suggests. "Okay fine, Let's go to a restaurant" he replies to her. "I know just the one" she replies back to him.
