She waited for jordynn to respond to her question "just, poems or songs. I'm always bored when it's not busy here so it occupies my time, probably sounds highschool as fuck" she said laughing a little
"Songs? Can I read em?"
"I would let you read them...but they're kinda private and they definitely ain't good"
"Fine, bruh you never tryna share shit wimme, imma go get some McDonald's, I'll bring you back some fries"
Jordynn nodded as Liyah got up and left the restaurant
Jordynn continued to fade out of her reality and into her past
In highschool, jordynn was a song fanatic, she loved to sing and to write music, her father always use to sing with her along with her mother when she was really little
Before bed, or when she was feeling down they always sang her a song.
She took the gift she had and ran with it they highschool, joining chorus and doing performances at school for poems, that's how she met Lucas
They both were out in the same group for chorus, him not wanting to be there, he continually flirted with jordynn until they both began to flirt with each other, she always helped him with his poems because he didn't like to do poems and she didn't like that he didn't want to even try
Which ended up in them getting into a relationship
I guess it could be a blessing and a curse.
After highschool they both decided to go to college, jordynn was accepted into Miami Florida University and he was going to Miami state
By this time, jordynn was 18, early graduate and in college ready to begin her music career and work with anyone who would give her a chance
She had hope. She did, until she found out she was pregnant, and found out that Lucas wasn't the best boyfriend
He cheated on her right after telling him she was pregnant
She swore up and down that she was going to raise that child on her own, but even with that swear it didn't happen
He ended up proposing, and they tied the not. While he continued college he made her freeze her account while she was pregnant and be at home when the baby was ready to pop
