"So ma you tryna go out on a date or whet?" Kenny asked jordynn as she was sitting behind the reception at the rec center
She scrunched her face up a bit as Kenny continued staring at her seductively
"Are you serious?"
"Do you want too? I'll pay, I got money." He said pulling out a wallet from his back pocket, she chuckled a little watching David walk up giving Leyanna a piggy back ride
"What y'all doing ova here?" He asked setting Leyanna on the counter
"He wants me to go out with him" she told him laughing a bit, David looked at Kenny and he winked at him
"Boy, leave her ass alone, she don't want you" he told him making Kenny sucking his teeth in
"She just playing hard to get" he looked at jordynn before hopping on the counter sitting by her "Imma get her though, I like playing hard"
"Leave my mommy alone" Leyanna told him with a scrunched up face
He copied her face making her laugh a little "leave my girl alone, this our business lil girl" he put his hand up and David pushed it away from leyannas face making her chuckle
"So you taking her side? Over mine? Jordynn, Get ya friend, cause he might get dropped"
"Who finna get dropped?" David asked as Leyanna was steady tapping the top of his head
"You!..." he jumped off the counter, he looked David up and down before giving him a smile "you look so nice today, you been using a new lotion?" He asked him making David laugh "exactly, get on someone where, go help August with the kids"
"Why? Me and Kia don't even get paid."
"Kia getting paid."
"Since when? Why she getting paid? I thought you said we not finna get paid until we do some work around here."
"She's been doing work, watching the girls and talking to the kids, and what do you do all day?-"
"Work, that's why I'm here" "no you flirt, go help August please, and take ley with you" He said setting Leyanna down "I don't wanna go with him.." Leyanna said pouting "mommy I don't wanna go."
"You don't wanna go see Kia?" Jordynn asked her "I do, not with him though" she said pointing st Kenny, he held his chest looking st her "little girl you ain't the best one to be with either, hurting my feelings n shi- stuff" he looked at David who had a raised eyebrow
"Let's go kid." He said to Leyanna who walked with him into the pool room
David came behind the reception area and sat in the chair next to jordynn and she smiled at him "so, what's been going on with you? You haven't talked to me in a while." She asked him turning toward him
"Ugh, I'm sorry I've been busy with stuff, I've been dealing with my sister Tai and her crazy ass kids, I make it up to you tho"
"How?" She asked
"A date?. Tonight? If you're not busy?"
