A young jasmine asked as her mother was passed out on the couch with a bloody lip
"Mommy?" She said dragging the word as wheel of fortune quietly played on the tv that had shattered glass on the tv stand
"Mommy are you awake?" She pokes her mother's Unconscious body twice before sitting on the couch next to her
"Momma?"
She looked around the small apartment they lived in and back at her mother, she grabbed a blanket that was on the other side of her mother and wrapped it around her mother's body while sitting next to her
Cuddled next to her body and watched tv waiting for her to wake up
Young jordynn didn't know that her mother was in serious pain, knocked out by a man that 'loved her'
She also didn't know that, in only a couple of years

Waking up in a daze
22 year old jordynn quickly took in her surroundings of her bedroom, glass broken on the floor, her phone shattered in front of her, and blood.
She barely remembers what happened last night, yet can't get the images out of her head The arguing and yelling and crying.
You can't forget that
She quickly got up wiping the glass off her body, wearing only panties and a t shirt big enough to cover her thighs, she looked around the room to see no one in there and began to panic.
She ran into Leys bedroom with the worried gut feeling in her stomach seeing she was still peacefully sleeping in her bed
She sighed
Dropping her head as she leaned against the door frame, her eyes began to tear up from relief.
She quickly made her way back into the master bedroom and took a quick shower, she felt the scratches on her body and the bruises pulsing as the water covered her body along with the soap
Washing up once more, she rinsed off before getting out the shower and finding clothes to wear
She put on a basic t shirt and jeans and some converse before putting her hair up in a bun
