"Can you please help me?" Jordynn asked Lucas while she was trying to make a bottle and calm down 1 month old Leyanna
After giving birth jordynn expected to be able to sleep and relax while Lucas cared for Leyanna, but the only time he touched her was when she was in the hospital
"Lucas?" She called as Leyanna cried louder, he was playing a video game with his headphones on and paying no mind to the crying
Jordynn sighed trying to rock Leyanna back and forth not being able to get her to stop
"Ley can you please calm down for mommy?" She asked knowing she wasn't going to get what she wanted
She continued crying as she put the bottle into the microwave and heated it up for a couple of seconds, jordynn felt like she was going through all of this alone, Lucas was barely ever home with her, not even when she was pregnant, he made her drop out of college because he didn't want her on campus while pregnant, but since she dropped out she had to continue working at her job el mago to be able to take care of herself and Leyanna, she could've been making money with the classes she was taking but she had to put her career on pause
Taking the bottle out of the microwave she gave it to Leyanna and she stopped crying and drank her bottle, jordynn sighed before cleaning up the kitchen a bit while still holding her
"Lucas." She called, he looked back st her "what? You messing my game up"
"I'm going upstairs.." she said grabbing a ice pack she got from the hospital "that wasn't worth announcing but okay"
taking it with her upstairs she got to the bedroom and laid Leyanna on the bed with her and propped her up on a pillow and turned the tv on nick jr
She sat on the bed rubbing her face before she grabbed her computer from the dresser and tried to figure out a way she could do online classes and balance having Leyanna and work
Jordynn had so many missed opportunities in life to be something great and she missed all of them due to the fact that she was stuck on someone who never cared for her and who was always making her decisions.
She had dreams to be famous, and be known to people, and to known for good things, helping people, making music, whatever she could, Lucas wanted to be a actor and he got what he wanted, he became an actor and acted in movies and tv shows, and it put a lot of pressure on him, he started drinking and that drinking made him an alcoholic, which is why jordynn didn't like to drink, because Lucas and her step father,Dante, both drank and she didn't want to end up like them, hurting the people they loved
Jordynn always told herself she didn't even want kids, she was never going to be ready and didn't want to deal with the responsibility, and look at her now, a mother to a one month old, trying her best to balance her with everyone and everything else.
Jordynn thought she wasn't the best mom, well she knew for a fact she wasn't the best, but she tried, basically raising Leyanna on her own for the past month, she felt like she wasn't even in a relationship.
All Lucas did was play video games and go to work, and if he wasn't doing so he was trying to get back under jordynn in the sheets, which was inconsiderate since she had a difficult birth and her body was still sore
It was like ever since she brought leyanna home he wanted nothing to do with ley or jordynn, she was just glad that he never got as angry with her anymore, he use to always grab her aggressively and pin her to the wall or hurt her in some way, and now he wanted to be a gentleman and not touch we while she had a newborn baby
He should've been a gentleman while she was pregnant, because he did the same shit to her when she was .
Jordynn took leyannas bottle away from her seeing she was ready to go to sleep, she gave her a pacifier and left her alone to have her fall asleep by herself, she laid in the bed watching Leyanna try to keep herself up
She wanted Leyanna to have better, and to know better, jordynn knew that their relationship wasn't okay, but she was taught it was, she didn't want to leave over little arguments and fights, she didn't want to actually be raising Leyanna by herself.
And she knew that Lucas wouldn't even let her leave if she wanted.
He was still protective over her, which is what caught her eye about him in the first place, most people don't know that, the over protectiveness and the constant calling, and telling you what to do and what not to do can lead to the situation jordynn was in
She didn't even know.
It can lead to scratches left on your body and Fresh bruises everyday, wanting to leave but not having the strength to do so by yourself, it can lead to being stalked and dealing with that person for the rest of your life and not having anyone in your corner.
If you don't get out, or escape fast enough, It can lead you to your grave.
