"David?" Jordynn looked over seeing David on his phone standing next to another woman while she was at DJR CLUB along with her friend Jason, she quickly disconnected from Jason to go over and say hi to David

She smiled before walking over and looking at him and the woman, he looked up smiling st her

"Aye what's up J?" he asked giving her barely anything of a hug

"Nothing Uh much, just working I guess, dude, you look, great.." she said looking at him as the girl smiled

" so do you" He looked st his friend and cleared his throat

"My bad, where my manners at, Jordynn, this is Mya'Anne". The girl put her hand out "hi, it's so nice to meet you Jordynn, in a fan"

"I bet you are"  Jordynn shook it before quickly letting go and wiping her hand off looking back st David

"So uh, what happened to you and Bernice? That was a cute couple wasn't it?"  He sucked his teeth in when she asked which made her smile a bit

"Me and Bernice were friends, just friends. "

"Really? Hm, didn't really seem like it, But I see you moved in fairly quickly" she looked his friend up and down before looking back st him

"Wait..." his friend chuckled a little "you guys are together aren't you? Huh? I'm not gonna be a side piece again" "what? No, we're not d
Together."

"Again?" Jordynn laughed a little "no, we're not together anymore. That boat left the dock a while back."

"A long while back. What's up tho? I see you here with someone?" He looked over to Jason who was waiting for Jordynn, she turned smiling st him before looking back at David

"Yea, it's Jason, we came to get my contracted renewed."

"Renewed? I thought you were done with DJR, Atleast that's what you said to me..."

"Well I was, but Jason wanted me to uhm, to renew my contract, Atlantic really isn't paying as well and I miss being around my regular studio, it's where I started my career. I don't wanna leave it, but I'm gonna see if Rick will renew my contract and let me transfer back"

"Well whose gonna be your producer? Or manager?"

He was only asking because he didn't want to deal with Jordynn in the studio

"Well I don't know, whoever rick wants to be. Why? You wanna be my producer again?"

He chuckled "Naw I'm good, I was just asking"

They both nodded and Mya just stared between both of them

"Okay well I should get back to Jason, nice seeing you, call me sometime." She walked back over to Jason as David leaned against the DJR club bar and sighed a bit seeing Jason and Jordynn laughing

"You okay? Because I'm not, that was awkward. As hell."
"I know. Ion even know what to think, she already got a dude. It hasn't even been a year or whatever"

"Well you already got a girl..." she smiled st him kissing him on the cheek

"Come on and let's get going so we can head to your place" "Naw...I'm not, I ain't feeling it tonight Mya..."

"Not feeling it? You're literally never feeling it. We've been talking for a couple of months, and we still haven't made it bedroom official" she wiggles her hips a bit

"I know, and I apologize...I'm just really not in the mood tonight."

She sucked her teeth in picking up a drink from the bar "just like every other night..."
