"Mommy did you know that if you mix red and blue you get purple?" Leyanna told me as we were walking into her school for gymnastics class

"It does?" I asked her, she nodded looking up at me "I didn't know that babe, how you know that?" I asked her

"We did art in class and I mixed them together and they made purple. But I didn't like the shade because it was too light so I added more blue, but I messed it up"

When we got down to the gym there were a bunch of girls just playing around and having fun, I looked st Leyanna who looked like she wanted to go on the gym beams, so I tried to hurry so she could

I knocked on the coaches door and it quickly opened to see some a very tall female in athletic clothing

"Hello, how can I help you both?" She asked

"Uhm I'm here to put my daughter in gymnastics? She was here a couple months ago but I didn't pay the class so they dropped her"

She didn't look like the old coach, but the only coach was annoying anyways

"Oh cool, well hi my name is coach Vargas" she shook my hand then shook Leyanna's

"I'm jordynn and this is Leyanna"

"Hi Leyanna, how old are you? Is she old enough to join the class?" "She's 4, she'll be 5 next week."

"My birthday is on Friday! But can I got play on the beam?" She asked me and the coach

"Hold on sweetie." I told her

The coach looked at me "well jordynn, I'm the new head coach, the old coach got pregnant so now she can't coach anymore, and since she is gone we have a couple new rules, first, the class is free of any charge, so you will not be needed to pay me, second we just need mom and dads signature of approval so she can join. And this class is going to help you be a better gymnast Leyanna trust me-"

"We need dads signature? Why can't I just sign it?.."

"Is dad...not available?" She asked "if dad isn't around we don't need his signature but we will need another signature, a close friend, a grandparent, whoever signs will be able to pick her up. Usually we want the mother and the father to sign"

"Mommy hurry up I wanna play" she said getting antsy

"Well do we have to do it now? Or can I come back with whoever I want to sign and we can sign? Me and her dad aren't really on good terms right now.."

"Oh, okay. Well uhm, Yea if someone else wants to sign in replacement of him they can" she grabbed a paper from the desk behind her and giving it to me

"Thank you"

"No problem, just bring it back whenever, And Leyanna, you can go join the other girls" she told her

Leyanna looked at me with a big smile "I'll see you later baby"

She hugged my leg and I bent down kissing her cheek "bye mommy, love you mommy!" She yelled before running over to the beam with the other girls
