Arriving at the tattoo shop I was nervous as hell because the last time I went to a tattoo shop my tattoo was hurting for days
"I'm thinking I'm tryna like a snake or sum on my chest, sum like that" David's friend Chris said as we got out the parked car and made our way inside
When we walked in I could smell the ink and hear the buzzing
David went to the counter as me and Chris went to go see what tattoos there were
"And they got a snake right there" he said pointing to the first page in the book "it's my destiny."
I continued looking and still had no idea what i wanted, i just didn't want anything that I would regret.
"Should I get chess?" I asked looking st Chris, he gave me a stank face and shrugged "chess? Like the game? Why you want that?"
"Well I use to play chess With my mom and dad, or atleast tried to play, but I never knew how to"
"Awe, that was a cute story." He said plainly as I looked st him then back at the book
There were some big ass tattoos then there were small tattoos, I thought maybe I could get a couple small tattoos and two chess pieces on my arms, I don't think I'd regret getting those
"Aight who tryna go first?" David asked as he finished talking to the dude, me and Chris walked over and looked st the tattoo artist
"I can do one at a time, it's only me today guys so I'm sorry, but whose up first?"
We all looked st each other then the boys looked st me, I laughed a little
"I'm not going first, I'm still a newbie. You guys literally have tattoo shirts" I said pointing to their necks and arms
"You right you right." Chris said "I'ma go first, y'all can sit back and watch a nigga" he said before heading back with the tattoo artist
Me and David sat in the waiting chairs next to Chris as the dude got his stuff ready
"What do you want??" He asked giving him the book, he flipped to the first page "the snake sir, wow...I ain't realize you got hella tattoos" he said looking at the tattoo artist
I looked st him to and he had hella tattoos, he was bald so he had some on his head too."
