Once they got the situation to calm down they all went and sat back down in the living room. Star was sitting by Noah. It was a thick silence. Everybody knew Star was never the type to threaten somebody's life but they also knew Star was not the crazy type. She did crazy things but when somebody provoked her she was a completely different person. They were even shocked that she pulled a knife on somebody, that feeling she never felt took over.

Cookie:How you feeling

Star didn't say anything she just sat there staring at the ground.

Hakeem:Yo speak when asked to
Noah:Yo watch your fucking mouth when talking to her
Star:Exactly
Hakeem:Or What you gon pull a knife on me?

Star felt tears brimming in her eyes but again they were tears of anger

Star:Wow we doing that go back to sleeping with that baby mama
Hakeem:Thats all you saying though
Star:Yea because at least I'm smart enough to know not to sleep with family dumbass
Hakeem:You sure you smart enough don't act like I didn't see yo ass having a panic attack
Star:Okay so what if I did at least I wasn't nobody's bitch
Hakeem:How
Star:Everybody knows you slept with that model, oh wait what's her name Camilla Marks? You was a weak ass puppet on her strings so don't talk to me like I'm a lower standard when we on the same level, I'm just tougher than you and I don't walk around acting tough Because I know I am.
Cookie:Aye cut all that out
Lucious:She is her fathers daughter
Star:Yo can you stop comparing me to my father
Lucious:I'm not gonna stop doing a damn thing because Cookie,Carlotta,Cassie and me can see it
Star:And so what if y'all do
Lucious:You got his temper,his ability to overthink, his fighting, the way his eyes change color when he's way to far at the edge, I and everybody else saw your eyes change color they went from hazel to dark green and I knew it was your first time because you had this look in your eyes
Star:Why does that even matter
Lucious:Because I know exactly how you felt when you heard what Brody said
Star:You don't know a damn thing
Lucious:I know everything about you Star when your eyes changed color everything was perfectly clear. Your mad,your angry,You wanna kill somebody right now,You wanna knock everything that's in your sight you were feeling wrathful. I could see all the hurt in your eyes all the people who did you wrong in the past made you put up this wall where you can't trust nobody and the people you can trust deep down you're afraid that there gonna turn there backs on you. You hide that fear that your feeling because you don't want nobody to know that deep down you feel weak you feel like everybody is gonna eventually leave you in the dirt when they get tired of dealing with you.

A tear then fell down Star's face. Star knew it was true everybody in the room stared at her.

Star:Thats not true
Lucious:Then why didn't you kill him? Because I for sure know that what Cassie said didn't cause you to put that knife down something else did

Star then shrugged her shoulders

Lucious:No you know see your father wouldn't hesitate to do it he would kill anybody family or not because he became so numb to doing it.
Cookie:Lucious that's enough leave her alone
Lucious:No because she wanna try and hold a knife up to somebody because of something he said. I bet you if M's Crane,her sister,Her husband,Cardi,Carlotta,Cotton or anybody else she's close to would've said that she would've said something back and at least put them in check. But she went overboard and placed a knife to Brody's neck a new feeling that she felt took over her. So answer the question why didn't you kill him? You had a opportunity you know my family's past and you know we will cover up for family and friends.

Tears were brimming in Star's eyes

Star: I don't know
Hakeem:Bruh can you stop hiding yo feelings
Star:Can you stop talking to me matter a fact you need to go and worry about that girlfriend of yours who went and cheated with a female
Hakeem:That was 4 years ago so why you still bringing it up
Star:Okay and? What's your point
Hakeem:Yo ass steady stuck in the past
Star:And yo ass still making mistakes in the present
