"Oh crap! How long have I been sleeping?" asked Jung-kook who barely opened his eyes.
"Not that long," Taehyung smiled as he looked at Jung-kook with a loving expression on his face.
"I'm sorry Tae, but I better leave before your father comes," Jung-kook apologized as he put on his shirt.
"Ah don't worry, he doesn't come home until much later," Taehyung assured him.
"But I can't risk it, us being found out again," Jung-kook said. "There will be so many questions, and frankly I'd rather not deal with them."
"Oh, all right," Taehyung conceded.
"Trust me, I'll figure this out," Jung-kook remarked as he rose from the bed and planted a kiss on Taehyung's lips.
"I trust you," Taehyung affirmed, "but I don't trust your mother."
Both of them now stood by the door, their tall frames making the house seem smaller than it was; a place they were fortunate to rent in exchange for work from Uncle Nam's friend.
Jung-kook was reluctant to leave. All he wanted was to run away with Taehyung and go somewhere they can love without repercussions.
"Don't you worry," Jung-kook assured. "Just tell me when you have some time off and I'll be back."
Taehyung nodded as he opened the door and let Jung-kook out, fearing that it'll be the last time he would see his lover.
As promised, Jung-kook visited Taehyung whenever he could get a chance from leaving his house undetected. Fortunately, there's Sae-ron who covered for her young master.
They also recruited the new stable-hand, Hiroto, to act as a decoy in an elaborate ruse to trick Mrs. Jeon that Jung-kook was within property grounds.
But as time passed, the lovers wanted more, desiring longer days together and the visits becoming more frequent, despite warnings from Sae-ron.
