"Who says it's too early for cheese?" asked the person leaning on the kitchen's doorframe.

"Dad!" Alex yelled. "Are you eavesdropping again?"

The middle-aged man with orange-tinged hair winked. "Don't mind me, continue with whatever you are doing."

Eun-hye blushed at the elder's suggestion. "I'm sorry, Uncle Jimin. I don't mean to be rude."

"You know you're practically my daughter," Jimin said. "So you can call me, Dad."

"Aww. That's so sweet my tooth hurts," Alex mocked. "Speaking of which, what's for dinner?"

"And what makes you think I was cooking, Alex?" Jimin raised an eyebrow.

"Well..." Alex muttered as his father shot him a knowing look.

"If I didn't know any better, it looks like you're trying to get me to leave," Jimin chided.

Eun-hye stood up from the sofa. "Don't worry. I will prepare something."

"No worries, love," Jimin assured. "Actually, we're going out for dinner as soon as your lazy bum of a parent wakes up from his nap."

"Who are you calling a lazy bum," a deep voice sounded from the stairway. The man was having trouble walking down, pausing every few seconds to feel the walls near him as he descended.

"Speaking of the devil," Jimin chuckled.

"Papa," Alex called. "Why are we going out for dinner?"

"Oh, your Dad and I figured it would a wonderful time to celebrate your upcoming marriage," Papa explained. "And to revel in the fact that I can go down a staircase without falling down."

"I'm sorry, Darling," Alex turned to his woman and clasped her hands. "I apologize if my parents think they're funny but they're actually not."

Eun-hye grinned. "It's okay. I love it when your fathers joke around, even if they're just trying hard."

"Hey!" Jimin exclaimed. "For that, I no longer recognize you as the future wife of my amazing and handsome son, God's gift to women and Envy of men."

"Oh, lord!" Alex bellowed. "The cheese in this house!"

"Well, that can be solved with a few glasses of wine." Papa smiled as he extended his hand. Alex reached out his arm to hold his father as Jimin unfolded a wheelchair.

Indeed, it was a momentous occasion that he even survived.
