Kongpob's POV

I woke up to a delicious smell. My stomach started growling instantly. I threw on a pair of sweat pants, and I quickly freshened up, and headed to the kitchen.

Arthit's back is facing me. He is whistling and wiggling left and right while cooking something over the stove. I see on the counter there's two plates with crepes dressed with fresh strawberries and cream.

I quickly approached closer to the plates. I picked up one of the forks from the counter, and try to break off a piece of crepe. And just as I'm about to put it in my mouth, Arthit turns around with a spatula in his hand. He jumps back surprised to see me sitting here. I grinned innocently to him.

"Haha, good morning. Are you okay?"

"Morning. How long have you been sitting here?"

"Just long enough to sneak a bite. The crepes are really good. What else do you have there?"

I curiously stretched my neck to see what's in the pan behind him. He chuckles at me, and brings the pan of scrambled eggs over.

"I didn't know what you like. So, I just made what came to mind. I hope it's okay with you. If you want something else, I can try to make it too."

"No, this look great. Let's eat. I'm starving."

Arthit rolls his eyes.

"When are you not hungry?"

I shrugged, and took my spoon to reach for the scrambled eggs, and Arthit immediately takes the pan away.

I looked at him confused.

"Wait. Let me put this on a proper plate."

I stopped him by grabbing his arm.

"Why wash an extra plate? Let's just eat out of the pan."

I gave him a big smile, and he smiled back. Oh, he has dimples. How did I not notice before? He places the pan down on the mat. And I immediately started spooning some scrambled eggs onto my plate.

I went to the fridge to get some orange juice for the both of us.

"Were you working out again?"

"No, I just woke up. Why?"

"I thought you were since you're wearing only sweat pants again."

"Oh, I usually sleep nude."

Arthit drops his fork on the table, but quickly picks it back up.

"Are you okay?"

"Ah, yeah. Sorry, it just slipped out of my hand."

I nod to his statement. He looks a little flustered.

These crepes are so perfect. They had just enough bite to them that they weren't just some floury mush. Perfect thickness giving them the layered texture in every bite.

"So Arthit, what do you do for a living?"

"I'm a civil engineer. I work on construction development projects."

"Oh, I thought you might be a professional chef. You should really consider a career change."

We both laughed.

I hummed in satisfaction as I took another big bite of the crepes, and then chased it with a spoonful of scrambled eggs. This is how every breakfast should be. Mmmm...

"What about you? You are the CEO of KPS Company?"

"Yes. You saw that on my name plaque. Why aren't you eating? I might finish it all you know?"

"You're pretty young to be in such a high position. No offense."

"None taken. It's nothing I haven't heard before."

Arthit nods, "that's very impressive."

I smiled to the all too familiar statement. He probably just thinks I'm some kid born lucky, and inherited everything like most people.

I continued to eat until I was completely stuffed.

"It must be challenging, and a lot of pressure to be a CEO."

"It is, but it's what I do best. There's nothing more satisfying than the high of success. When deals and plans come together, it's like solving a million piece puzzle. But let's not talk about my work anymore. I don't want to think about it on my days off."

"Oh, sorry about that."

I shook my head a little.

"What are you planning to do for the rest of the day?"

"Well, what I really would like to do is straighten out my stuff, like get a new ID, go to the bank, and find a place to stay. But it will all have to wait till tomorrow since it's Sunday. By the way, can I use your washer and dryer?"

"Eh, I don't have those in my house. Sorry."

"Huh? How can that be? How are your clothes washed?"

"My maids take them in for laundry service. You can leave your clothes for them tomorrow."

Arthit seems to look worried.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing really. It's just that my only work clothes were the ones off my back from Friday, and if I make it to work tomorrow, I will need them."

"Is that all you were worried about? Come with me."

Seeing him frown, I put my arm around him and dragged him along. He looks a little surprised, scared, and confused. It's comically adorable.

"Where are we going?"

"To my room of course."

"Wha.. why are we going to your room?"
