Upon entering the house, Kongpob tries to lighten the mood for the both of them.

He claps his hands together, and smiles to Arthit. Arthit takes a deep breath looking back at him with a melancholic face. So Kongpob walks over to Arthit, and puts his arm around his shoulder to drag him further inside the house.

"Okay, enough with the sob stories. If there's anymore, let's save it for another day. Maybe on a rainy day with a good bottle of wine. We are home now, so we should just relax."

Arthit's stomach suddenly makes an entrance growling. He rubs his stomach, and glances at his watch, and it's already 9, so that's why.

"Kongpob, I'm hungry. I'm going to make something. Do you want anything? Did you have dinner yet?"

"No, I didn't. Thak had brought me dinner, but I didn't have time to eat it. Like I told you before, I don't really eat when I work."

Arthit starts to frown looking at Kongpob, the other shrugs like it's no big deal.

"So, did you at least have lunch?" Arthit's brows starts to fuse together.

"I think I finished half of my salad before going into a meeting." Kongpob looks down to avoid looking at Arthit.

"So breakfast is really your only full meal of the day?"

Arthit's look now turns incredulous, running his hand through his hair.

Kongpob glances at Arthit, and purse his lips in a flat line looking guilty.

"I just don't have time, but I'm fine. I can always eat at home when I'm hungry." Kongpob quickly tries to defend himself.

Arthit shakes his head because he knows all Kongpob eats at home is instant noodles.

Arthit had originally wanted to just make some fried rice, but he decided to make something more substantial now after learning that Kongpob had barely eaten today. He turned to the kitchen to quickly get to work

"Arthit, do you need any help?" Kongpob offered.

"No that's okay. I'll be quick. Why don't you go freshen up or something?"

Kongpob nods, and goes to his room to change out of his work clothes. He comes back out a few minutes later wearing glasses. And he is again, only wearing black sweat pants. Kongpob wanted to keep Arthit company, so he decided to sit at the counter, and read on his tablet while Arthit cooked.

Arthit's POV

What the...he wears glasses? Why does he look good in those too? How the heck am I supposed to cook while he is sitting there half naked with glasses?

Okay, Arthit act normal. Don't look at him. Let's try not to lose a finger, or burn the house down.

What the fuck is he doing now? Why is he doing push-ups?

"What are you doing?"

"Push-ups."

"Yeah. I know, but why?"

"I just like to move for a bit after sitting in the office all day."

Someone just hose me down. I'm burning for a completely different reason now. Okay, Arthit think back to the sad story. Sad story. Sigh.

"Uh, okay. Well, dinner is ready. Come over and eat."

Kongpob walks over to come sit next to me at the counter.

"Here, have some basil chicken and fried rice. Here's an egg too."

I placed a big plate of food in front of Kongpob. I wanted to make sure he gets enough. How does he even manage to function is beyond me.
