It has been at least four months since Arthit has seen Bright. When they first graduated from college, their whole gang tried to at least hangout once a month. However, as they got older, adulting got in the way. It was either Knot had family business to attend to, Prem was on location, Toota was traveling, or Arthit was too busy with work. Rarely were they able to all get together these days. And today is no different. Only three of the five of them will be here tonight.
Kongpob and Arthit gave Knot a ride to Bright's bar. The latter said he would just take a taxi back afterwards. Although, Kongpob offered to drive him back later, he declined. Knot knew his home was a bit out of the way from the city's center.
Since it's Sunday evening, the bar was pretty quiet. Arthit and Knot walked ahead chatting as Kongpob locked his car, and followed behind. As he was walking he noticed his laces had come untied, so he bent down to tie them. Arthit and Knot did not notice Kongpob had fell behind, and kept walking.
When Kongpob walked into the bar, he didn't see Arthit or Knot. He looked around, and the bar was a nice local bar that had a beachy theme to it. There were surfboards, kayaks, and paddles hung on the walls. Kongpob hasn't been to a local regular bar since college. All he ever goes to now are high-end lounges and pubs for social engagements.
"Hey handsome. Are you lost?" A beautiful girl with long black hair came up to Kongpob smiling seductively. She wore a red crop top, and black super short shorts that highlighted her mile long legs in her heels.
Arthit turned around to find Kongpob missing. He was so engrossed in telling Knot about how Chet the jerk had made a scene for him at the office, that he had somehow lost his boyfriend. Their usual table is at the very corner of the bar. They usually liked sitting there because it was more secluded, and it gave them a good view of the whole bar for people watching. Given that, Kongpob probably can't spot him, so he excused himself from Knot, and walked back to the front of the bar.
Arthit spotted Kongpob from across the room with a girl next to him. The girl definitely had more skin exposed than covered. A frown promptly made its way on Arthit's face. Even though he knows Kongpob really loves him, it still doesn't change the fact that Kongpob would still be attracted to women. Chiding at his own thoughts, he made his way across the bar. He really can't leave this man alone for more than a few minutes.
"Uhm, thanks. But I'll just call my friend. I know he is in here somewhere." Kongpob said as he pulled out his phone.
"Maybe I can help you look for him." The woman said as she grabbed Kongpob's arm.
"Honey, where did you go? I thought you were right behind me." Arthit went to grab Kongpob by his other arm with his phone still in hand.
"Oh, there he is. Thanks for your help anyway." Kongpob said to the woman who had a slight pout on her face.
Arthit shook his head, and pulled Kongpob along.
"Where did you go Kongpob? I lose you for a few minutes, and you are busy flirting." Arthit sighed.
"I swear I wasn't. I had to stop to tie my laces, and the next moment you guys were gone. And that lady was just trying to help." Kongpob tried to explain.
Arthit stopped, and turned around. "It's okay Kongpob. I'm not the only one that finds you attractive. I can live with that. Now, let's go sit down. Bright is on his way from home."
Arthit turned around to walk again, but Kongpob grabbed his hand yanking him back. Arthit turned to see Kongpob smiling at him. Kongpob pulled him closer, and whispered in his ear, "I only find you attractive now."
Arthit made a sour face at the cheesiness, and lightly hit Kongpob on the shoulder. "Like you suddenly don't like legs and boobs." Arthit challenged.
