Kongpob is finally being discharged after two weeks in the hospital. His vision has recovered for the most part. He didn't have too much trouble as long as he didn't concentrate too hard, and stayed away from direct light.

These past two weeks were insufferable to Kongpob. His family kept popping in, and fussed all over him. The lack of mobility didn't even bother Kongpob as much as the amount of smothering he had to endure. There were at least two thermos of soup waiting for him, and enough food to feed a small army everyday.

His Ruangroj grandparents came every morning for the first week until he promised to drink all the soup they would send. Kongpob was surprised that they didn't have any questions about Arthit. They only smiled, and nodded at Arthit when he introduced him as his boyfriend. Arthit was so nervous, he dropped the pitcher, and spilled water everywhere. Kongpob just shrugged. Again, he doesn't believe in hiding their relationship. Based on their non-reaction, Kongpob guessed Nina had already prepared them. He was ever so grateful for his aunt at that moment. He really didn't need anymore dramas.

Grandma Suthilak also came to visit once despite her own mobility issues. Like always, she had blamed everything on Sonya. No matter what people said, she always blamed Sonya. She blamed her for Kongpob's father's early death. She blamed Sonya for her second son's betrayal to the family. She blamed Sonya for Kongpob still being unmarried. And now, she blamed Sonya for Kongpob's accident. There was just no reasoning with Grandma Suthilak. Kongpob loved her, but it was just too hard to listen to her keep bashing his mother all the time. Luckily, Arthit wasn't there when she came to visit. Kongpob really doesn't need her approval, but right now he would rather not deal with her.

Nina came to visit him everyday even though she clearly had nothing to worry about. She has also made a habit of picking fights, and stomping on Luke's foot on her way in. The other day, Kongpob clearly heard Luke yelp outside as Nina entered his room with an air of triumph. Kongpob can only pray for Luke.

His mother on the other hand popped in and out whenever she could. She took over anything she could for him. Kongpob was lucky to have all these overbearing family in his life. And he is lucky to have his one special person. His boyfriend.

Arthit had all but moved into the hospital with him. He has no idea how Arthit was managing all his work. He had only been going into the office for half days, and then he would go home to make dinner for them to eat at the hospital together. And somewhere in between, he would check on his mother and sister at their new home. Kongpob had Luke help them move everything, and Thak had setup proper security. He knew something will eventually have to be done about Arthit's father, but that will have to wait.

At night, Arthit would sleep in the requested second bed on the other side of Kongpob's room. He worked into the wee hours every night except for the last two. Kongpob had told him to go home so many times, but he just wouldn't listen.

Kongpob is more than happy that Arthit is pampering him so much, but he also feels guilty. He has M and Alexa to handle most of his work, but what about Arthit? He wouldn't want to be the cause of any trouble, or set back for him at work. But Arthit had assured him that he had everything under control. So, what can he do other than trust him?

Arthit on the hand was so busy everyday, yet he was so content pampering Kongpob. Having Kongpob depend on him made him feel needed. He had announced to the nurse that he was Kongpob's boyfriend the second day in the hospital when he walked in on the nurse trying to change Kongpob. And of course, he did all the changing and cleaning for Kongpob thereafter.
