The rest of the week went by blissfully, yet equally dreadful for Arthit. Arthit has never felt this way about anyone before. Now, he thinks this is probably the first time he is truly in love. He has been caught daydreaming about Kongpob even during important meetings. The past few nights, he can't wait to leave the office. He no longer waits until 8pm to go see Kongpob. Arthit tries to leave as soon as he can wrap up anything important after 6pm. He would go upstairs to the 36th floor, and continue his work in Kongpob's office if the latter wasn't ready to leave yet.

However, no matter how happy he felt at the moment, he is equally worried about what will happen on Kongpob's impending date with Mild. Kongpob had said more than once that no matter what she says, or wants, the results would be the same. Kongpob will still come home to him. Arthit tells himself that should be enough, and he should just trust Kongpob to handle the situation. So, he has been trying very hard to just push it to the back of his mind.

Tomorrow is the dreaded date. Kongpob has been more or less indifferent about it. He doesn't know what Mild wants from him, and frankly it won't make a difference. His feelings for Mild had gone from love to hate to nothing over the years. Even the initial shock of seeing her again the other day has simmered away. Although, he is still curious about what her intentions are. Kongpob has tried to be as open about it to Arthit as possible.

Arthit has directly and indirectly asked him questions after questions about his past relationship with Mild. As painful as it is to go down memory lane, Kongpob has still tried to answer all of Arthit's questions in his calmest tone. It's actually quite emotionally draining for Kongpob. He hasn't ever had to speak so much about his feelings and thoughts to anyone. But he doesn't want Arthit to feel that he is still harboring any feelings for Mild. And he also wants to encourage Arthit to be honest with his own feelings, and just tell him anything that is bothering him. So, they've done a lot of talking lately.

Knock Knock

"Come in." Arthit said without looking up from his computer.

"Arthit, there's a Zack here that says Ms. Ruangroj would like a word with you." Jane said between the crack of the door.

Arthit snapped his head back so quick at the mention of Ruangroj, that he almost fell off his chair.

"Where is she? Is she in our office?"

"Uh no, it's just that man Zack here. He is waiting at the front desk."

"Okay, I will take a break now. If Dan needs me, tell him to call me. I will be back as soon as possible."

Arthit quickly grabbed his wallet and phone, and walked to the front desk.

There was only one man dressed from head to toe in black, and wore black shades. Arthit nervously approached him.

"Are you Zack?"

"Yes, Mr. Ronajpat. I'm Zack. Ms. Ruangroj would like to see you. I'm here to take you to her."

"Uh, you could have just called me. I would have just met her there. It would have saved you a trip." Arthit nervously smiled.

Zack tipped his black shades down to look at Arthit. He was not amused. Arthit followed Zack to the awaiting car.

Arthit was nervous, and his palms were sweaty. He doesn't know what Kongpob's grandma would want with him. She wouldn't want him to leave Kongpob now that Mild is back would she? At least he hoped that's not the case.

Zack drove Arthit to fancy french restaurant. Then he led him to a private room. Zack opened the door, and Nina was sitting at a table for two. Instant relief washed over Arthit knowing that it's Nina waiting for him, and not Kongpob's grandma. The room was beautifully painted lavender with white trims, and art deco patterns along the wall. There was a white chandelier with strings of crystals hanging above the center of the room. Beautiful white flowers adorned each corner of the room.
