Before I start going on tour I decided to release a follow-up album called, "A.M." initials for Atlas Martyn. It will be a sequel to "The Story of Atlas Martyn." I told my fans online that I'll be releasing a new album. I dye my dreads blue for the new era. I got two new tattoos on my faces label, "love" on my right side below my eye and "kills" on my left side below my eye and put it on my mask. I even got an ear piercing and got a chandelier earring . Recorded some new songs and put some unreleased songs on the album. Even though the single wasn't released yet, I went on Kimmel Live to perform a new song called, "Night blue Saturday."
"Here's my new guest, he's the most talked about rapper and rockstar, if his not-released single yet, 'Night blue Saturday' here's Maxx Misfit!" Jimmy introduced me. The song had a 1950s doo wop with hip hop/r&b elements. The lyrics describes how inhabitants of a post-apocalypse world in the future to how to make love and need to watch porn. I came out with mascara on my mask with my chandelier earring, my nails painted black and wore a glamorous suit. The lyrics were, "Put your arms around me. Baby its hot, let's take it off. Don't forget to turn on the fan. Don't be nervous , it'll be alright. Suck it up. My phone rang and see if its my friend on the other side. When niggas stare in Tupac's eyes and scored like the video films we saw. His name was Franky and he'd shrug and ask to stay as fuck. She'd sigh like a whore in church and her face turn away. She uncertain if she likes me. But I know she really loves him.." In Compton, a couple of crips were watching my performance on tv and one of them said, "Yo, is this nigga having make up on his mask?"
"What the fuck is he wearing?" said the other crip
"Man, get the fuck outta here with this shit, bro." said the other crip.
I went to In-Out-Burger to get something to eat with my bodyguard, Cody and Peanut. Suddenly, the crips that were watching my performance on Kimmel Live, came up on me to taunt me.
"Hey, dawg. You look too fabulous on tv, last night." he said.
I didn't know if I could take it as a compliment or not so I just ignored them.
"You gonna wear a dress, too?" he said.
"Look, dude. I'm not trying to start shit right now." I said.
"Oh yeah? What you gonna do faggot?" said the other crip.
I punched and him and the other two crips jumped in and my bodyguard try to stop it. Peanut tried to pull me back.
"Come on, these are crips." Peanut said.
"Don't come to the Watts son, next time I see you, payback." he said as he lifted his shirt and showed his gun on the side. The crips walked away.
"Dude, they could've shot your ass, man. They're more dangerous than the bloods out here." Peanut said.
"Yeah, man. It could've gotten out of hand or worst." my bodyguard said.
"Come on, man. Let's go." Peanut said.
On Friday, I released "Night blue Saturday" online and went on Big Boy's Neighborhood on REAL 92.3. We talked about my new single, my fight with the crips, my performance on Jimmy Kimmel, tour, the new album and Dime Den, a rapper who diss me Thursday on Instagram on my performance on Jimmy Kimmel saying, "Nigga, you painted your nails and you dress like a girl. That's why your punk ass emo bitch won't get no respect here in the West Coast."
"So how do you feel about, Dime Den dissing you on social media?" Big Boy asked.
"I don't know that nigga, man. If he's listen, you're bottom still in the bottom. You using my name for clout. You keep talking on social media, but you don't have the balls enough to say it to my face." I said.
"Whoa, that was cold, man." Big Boy said.
Four weeks later, I released my second single, "The West." The song is a Synthpop rap with house beats. I had visual ideas for the video. I would be dressed in black and performing in a glass cube in a dark room wearing black nails. I've been observed from outside and spoken about by-well groomed audience, with white cards showing negative comments from real-life haters about me (such as Terrible lyrics, Soundcloud rappers should not reach higher of the level of fame, Totally lacking the rap game, This the guy that makes rap and metal core music? Get the fuck outta here, Try-hard, Emo af, This is a joke just like his music, And this guy actually murdered some and I only heard Check Me Out once and I hate it.) The people in the video is a metaphor as the crips that wanted to bust me few nights ago. At the end of the video ends I sit and observed the audience inside the box. Three weeks later, the video was release. Two weeks later I found out that I was performing on Saturday Night Live and some of the comments from their audience are not pleased. Some of them saying, "Why are you having a murderer on your show?" "First Donald Trump, now this guy?" "Man, music has gone down hill." "Well SNL, y'all lost a fan." I shot a promo video with Leslie Jones and Ashton Kutcher who would be the host. On the show I performed a song that I haven't released that would be on the album called, "Life." It's a talk rap song with minimalistic and eerie production features a jarring piano accompanying by thunder sound. The song is about death inescapability. I performed in a rainbow cloth with my mask on. The second song as a metal core rap song called "Hip Hop Suicide" that had my fans running on stage and mosh pitting which caused quit damaged to the set. SNL ban me after that performance due to reckless endangerment. Four weeks later, I released my album, "A.M." the album cover featured my shirtless with my mask on. It has 13 tracks and it features Blink 182's Travis Barker, YungBlud, Post Malone, Joey Badass, Rico Nasty, Travis Scott and an unknown R&B singer, named,Joe. I went on an interview with Nessa from HOT 97. I describe the album as "Atlas Martyn goes Hollywood" album.
"So what makes you decide to make a follow up album?" Nessa asked.
"Well this album is like a sequel to my last album. Some of the song I recorded on here were recorded while was I recording, "The Story of Atlas Martyn. So A.M. was split down the middle." I said.
"So, I heard you was ban from SNL after that wild performance with your fans, can you addressed that?" Nessa asked.
"Well, I wasn't ban from SNL, they didn't like the mosh pit from my fans. It was controversial to them, because of the enthusiasm from my fans. It was not supposed to go down like that." I said.
"Well, what are you going to do now, since you release your album?" Nessa asked.
"I'm going on tour." I said.
