Just days before, the movie, Angel Boy, released worldwide on Friday. The reviews were in and most of them were positive! It had a 70% percentage on Rotten Tomatoes. Usually hood movies get low ratings, but this one took the cake. Based on 92 reviews with an average score of 6.2 out of 10. Roger Ebert gave the movie, 3 1/2 out of 4 and stated the film is a bold criticism of a trouble fallen angel who's punishment is to live in the hood of South Central. It also criticism of the society that pushes them into a niche. Although there was some criticism of no white people in it. Kenneth Turan praised the movie for being, "Compelling, heartfelt and personal." Jonathan Rosenbaum of Chicago Reader also liked the film, stating, "Like most other hood features, this is far from flawless... the characters are so fulfilled and the feeling was raw and complex that I'd call this the best film that has done to date." On Friday, the release day for the movie. Angela, The Game and I went to Sway show to promote the movie. Sway interview us.

"So, Maxx, this is your first staring role as an actor, what the move about?" Sway asked me in front of the audience.

"The movie is about, a misguided fallen angel who's been kicked out of heaven and living in Watts. He can't seem to strike a balance or find direction in his chaotic new life." I explain to Sway.

"Okay, so Angela, I heard that his is your first time doing a love scene between Maxx. How was it?" Sway said.

"Um... It was challenging at first, but I try to relax my nerves." Angela said.

"Maxx, I know you got a girl, so how did she react to that scene?" Sway said.

"Umm... She didn't like it and she didn't agree on it at first, but I let her know it was all acting My mom saw the movie and it was a little uncomfortable and awkward, but she liked the movie. I said.

"Well you heard it here folks, you can go see Maxx Misfit new movie, Angel Boy in theaters tomorrow." Sway said.

"Tomorrow!" I exclaimed on the mic.

Friday, the movie was released everywhere. Next week, it grossed $8,606,403 on opening weekend. Averaging $5,614 per theater, and ranking #5 at the box office. It grossed a total $28,734,552 domestically and $647,097 elsewhere for a total of $29,381,649, above its $16 million production budget.

Four months later, I was planning on releasing my sixth album called, Back To Back. It's my vehicle for my performance and a second chapter to my persona, Omar Garcia. It was originally gonna be a soundtrack album to Angel Boy and the artwork is a still from the movie. During the sessions and during the movie, I did a little cocaine for the album. The transiting developed the R&B and pop of my previous release, Black Atlanta, while presenting a new direction towards EDM. Skrillex and Diplo were the engineers on the album for the pop songs while OG Parker, Boi-1da, DY and Ink produce the R&B tracks. Lil Yachty, Offset, Gunna, Lil Baby, Playboi Carti, Rich The Kid and Blink 182 were the features on the album. The first single of the album was, "Heart" and went #5 on the charts. "Golden Years" was the promo single. The album was released three weeks later.  "Back To Back" was the second single and was #3 on the charts and "Hello New World" featuring Gunna pretty much failed the charts. I went on Genius to talk about the lyrics and meaning of "Heart".

"The inspiration behind the song was just me, my life, stuff I was going through personal stuff too. I just wanted to give my fans something to relate to for me, and I wanted to like make it my realest song. I didn't know that was going to be the first track on my album, but when I did it and I was just working on the album was just feeling that this gotta be the first track. I got the beat from Danny Wolf. He sent me a beat pack. It was literally like the first one he sent me, I texted him like 'Bro, I'mma do this one.' I did it I sent it to him and he was like 'Yeah, this is a hit.' I was right about that shit." I said in the interview.

The album reach #3 on Billboard Chart, remaining on the chart 32 weeks. It became my highest-charting album. I decide not to go on tour for this album, but I went and do gigs for Hot 97's Summer Jam, Rolling Loud Miami and Power 106 Cali Christmas. After the performance, I was being interview by Cruz  to talk about my success for the past years.

"So tell me, Maxx, what age were you when you were started out as a rapper?" Cruz asked.

"About 17. I was 16 when I was first signed." I said

"Well everyone is talking about how you change your styles and all and that some of your fans are into the new sound." Cruz said.

"I guess people don't understand that all musicians switch it up every once in awhile, so it's shouldn't be a big deal." I said.

"That's what it's about, man. What are we getting in the future, homey?" Cruz asked.

"Hmm. Maybe a new album or a new movie. And it's the holidays, I can't wait to perform. Not everybody gets what they want for Christmas, but getting a ticket for this show will be something that they have fun and enjoy the holidays." I said.

"Maxx Misfit, we're backstage. Omar is about to shut it down. Go! Go! Go!" Cruz said as I got up and get ready to perform.
