Dance With Me

I went back to the studio to finish my new album, but one this one I decided to go on a new route, Pop. Some of my artist wasn't too sure about it.

"Yo, Ly. Are you sure you wanna go through with this?" Rooftop said.

"Yeah, man. This is the type of songs that gets your #1 on the charts and play on the radio. You know Usher, Chris Brown and Ne-Yo went pop right." I said.

"Alright then, also you got some R&B hits in there too." Rooftop said.

"Nigga please. I'll always do R&B." I chuckled.

For Five weeks, I have been in the recording studio putting the finishing touches on the album. I had new artist, Layton Greene and the legend himself, Nas. Pharrell even came to studio to produce one track. I played this one track to Paul and Alex and they loved. It had a house and edm track to it.

"Now that shit right there, is going to get on the charts." Paul said.

"Looks like we got another hit, Ly." Alexander said.

"You damn right." I said.

My first single to my new album, "Dance With Me" will also be the name for the album, went #1 on Billboard. I went to shoot the video at a club where club goers wore animal mask. My artists, Rooftop and Skullboy made appearance in the video. I had to start promoting my movie, "Tension" doing promos and interviews with the cast. After one of the interviews, I looked on my Instagram and looked at Liam's page and found out that his girlfriend gave birth to a babygirl. She look so precious. On our way to the premiere in a limousine, with my boys. We were discussing some things for their career with Janey.

"Janey. You look beautiful, baby." I said.

"Thanks, bae. You look pretty dapper, yourself." Janey said as we kissed.

"Ya'll need to get a room." Rooftop said as I gave him the finger.

"Yo, has anybody seen Liam's baby?" Skullboy said.

"Yeah, I've seen it. She's cute." Janey said.

"Look, can we not discuss about Liam or his kid right now. This is about me." I said.

"Alright, Ly. There's no need for you to get pissy." Young Palace said.

"I'm not fucking pissy, nigga I'm... just forget it." I said as I took a sip of champagne.

"Babe, relax." Janey said.

"I'm fine. I'm fine." I said.

When we got to the ArcLight Theater for the premiere, I took out a little bottle of cocaine and sniffed it on my finger. I got out of the car and took some pictures with my girlfriend, Janey, then I had to take some with the cast members. The flashing lights were too bright for my eyes so I put my sunglasses on. I walked inside the theater for the movie and the film starts. Throughout the movie, my character dealt with racial issues. Then my character got killed off at a gun point in 50 minutes. After my character's  funeral scene. I decided to leave.

"Come on, my scene is over. Let's go." I whispered.

"What, no I want to watch the whole movie." Janey said.

"What else to watch, I just got killed off. Whatever, I just be out in the lobby. Excuse me" I said as I walked out of the theater.

After the movie was over, we drove home in the limo and we discussed the movie.

"Yo man. That was some heavy shit in that movie." Skullboy said.

"Yeah man. Especially the way you got killed off. You got your ass marked." Young Palace said.

"Not funny, Palace." Skullboy said.

"What really stressing me out on that movie, is that the way those white kids get to talk to their parents like that. If we talk to our parents like that we would get slap the taste out of our mouth." Janey said.

"Our get or asses whooped!" Young Palace said as he chuckled.

"If y'all thought that was some heavy shit, wait till y'all see Vietnam. You probably wouldn't handle it, Janey." I said.

"Why wouldn't I?" Janey said.

"Because it's a gore fest." I said.

"Oh please, I can handle it." Janey laughed as the limousine took us home.

I start promoting my new album, "Dance With Me" by releasing my second single, "Get High" with Lil Skies and Wiz Khalifa. My promo single, "Don't Fall Asleep." and My third single, "Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover." I was also featured on Smokepurpp song, Robert Smith with Lil Skies  and Juicy J's Cadillac Cruising." I performed at the Billboard Music Awards and BET Awards with my two songs, "Don't Fall Asleep and Dance With Me." At the BET Awards, I won for Best Male R&B Artist and the FANdemonium Awards. I gave out my speech saying, "First off all, I wanted to say thank you to my fans and my team, Paul and Alexander. This album is coming out next week and I hope y'all enjoy it. Thank you!" I said as the crowd applause.

Five weeks later, it was time to promote, "Vietnam." I've had to go to different countries to promote the movie with the cast. We had four premieres for the movie. One in London, Paris, Vietnam and America. I took Janey with me to the American premiere. We sat through the movie, as the audience were shocked at the violence of the war and what the men had to go through during that time. Even Janey couldn't handle most of the scenes. My character gets killed 40 minutes during the movie. At the after party, I saw Janey talking to Hans. I saw him raising his hand beside her arm as they were laughing. I walked over there.

"Oh, hey, Ly. Just saw the movie, you were terrific." Han said.

"Han, I wasn't expected to see you, here." I said.

"Oh, Janey, invited me." Han said.

"She did?" I said looking at here.

"Han is a friend of war movies and Denzel Washington movies." Janey said.

"Yeah, man. I hate that your character was killed, man." Han said.

"I wasn't a character. I was playing a real soldier who lost his life fighting the war. Most of those men lost their lives during that time." I exclaimed.

"Yeah, I understand that. Great movie, by the way. I'll see you at work, Jane." I said.

"Yeah, bye Han." Janey said.

I drove home and Janey start asking me a question.

"Can I ask you something?" Janey said.

"What?" I said driving.

"Why did you walked out during most of the movie? Was that movie too hard for you to handle. I mind you choose to be in the movie." Janey said.

"No reason." I lied because most of the scenes I start hallucinate seeing Alice dead body, especially during the set.

"By the way. Let me ask you a question. Why did you invite Han?" I said while driving.

"I told you, he likes war movies." Han said.

"You're not fucking are you?" I asked.

"Don't be ridiculous." Janey said.

I said nothing else, after the conversation.

I played myself in Think Like A Man 3. I made a five minute cameo appearance with Kevin Hart's character. To promote my album, "Dance WIth Me decided to go on a 19 day tour before the holidays called, "The Time Tells All Tour." After the tour, I hang out with Young Palace in the studio as he was working on his mixtape.

"Yo, man. I just saw Vietnam and that shit was heavier than Tension. You got marked again, man. You be part of these hard ass movies, lately." Young Palace said.

"I know. I know. So what's up with Janey?" I asked.

"Well you know, she been working all day. She just trying to make that money." Young Palace said.

"Alright, if you say so." I said.

"So, Ly. You think this shit gonna be my big break?" Young Palace asked me as he played his new track.

"Hell, man. That's gonna be fucking lit." I said as I was happy to hear his new music.
