Season One
[Pilot]
A figure lunged at Dean and Holly stepped back into the shadows to watch.
After a few swings and kicks from the boys, Dean pinned Sam down. "Whoa, easy tiger."
Sam realized his intruder. "Dean?" He glanced over to see a girl. "Holly? You scared the crap outta me!"
"That's cause you're outta practice."
Sam immediately seized the opportunity to grab Dean's loose wrist and flipped him to the ground. "Or not." Dean grunted.
Sam tapped Dean twice and the latter said, "Get off of me."
The two of them got to their feet and Sam asked, "What the hell are you two doing here?"
Holly shrugged. "Beer sounded pretty good."
Sam narrowed his eyes at her. "You can't legally drink. What the hell are you two doing here?"
Dean sighed. "Okay. Alright. We gotta talk."
"Uh, the phone?"
Dean avoided Holly's eyes as he said, "If I'd'a called, would you have picked up?"
The light turned on and the siblings turned to see a tall girl in a gray cropped Smurfs t-shirt and pink short shorts. "Sam?"
He turned to face her. "Jess. Hey. Dean, Holly, this is my girlfriend, Jessica."
Dean stared her down and Holly rolled her eyes.
Jess frowned. "Wait, your brother Dean and your sister Holly?"
She smiled and Sam nodded. Dean grinned at her and stepped closer. "Oh, I love the Smurfs. You know, I gotta tell you. You are way completely out of my brother's league."
Jess stared at Dean, obviously uncomfortable. "Just let me put something on."
She turned and Dean's voice stopped her. "No, no, no, I wouldn't dream of it. Seriously."
"Dean, shut up!" Holly hissed, glaring at him.
Sam was glaring daggers at Dean, which was understandable. Dean then said, "Anyway, we gotta borrow your boyfriend here, talk about some private family business. But, uh, nice meeting you."
"No." Sam said, placing an arm around his girlfriend's shoulders. "No, whatever you want to say, you can say it in front of her."
Dean turned to face them. "Okay. Um. Dad hasn't been home in a few days."
Sam shrugged. "So he's working overtime on a Miller Time shift. He'll stumble back in sooner or later."
Holly pursed her lips and said, "Dad's on a hunting trip."
"And he hasn't been home in a few days." Dean finished.
Though Sam's expression remained the same, Holly knew their words were registering. "Jess, excuse us. We have to go outside."
They walked down the stairs and Sam frowned at his siblings. "I mean, come on. You two can't just break in, middle of the night, and expect me to hit the road with you."
Dean glanced at him. "You're not hearing us, Sammy. Dad's missing. We need you to help us find him."
"You remember the poltergeist in Amherst? Or the Devil's Gates in Clifton? He was missing then, too. He's always missing, and he's always fine."
They stopped and Holly shook her head. "Yeah, but not for this long. Now, are you coming with us or not?"
"I'm not."
