They made their way to the vampire nest just as the new day dawned. From their hidden spot in the trees, Dean said, "Son of a bitch. So they're really not afraid of the sun?"
John glanced at his son. "Direct sunlight hurts them like a nasty burn. The only way to kill 'em is by beheading. And yeah, they sleep during the day, doesn't mean the won't wake up."
Dean frowned. "I guess walking in's not our best option."
"Actually, that's the plan."
Dean opened the trunk and the siblings weaponed up while John went to his trunk and pulled out his own weapons.
Dean looked over at John. "Dad, I've got an extra machete if you need one." He held it up, but John revealed his own massive machete.
John nodded. "I think I'm okay. Thanks."
Holly's eyes widened, seeing the machete. "Whoa."
John looked at his kids. "So, you boys really wanna know about this Colt? Holly? You too?"
"Yes sir." Sam said.
"It's just a story, legend really. Well I thought it was. Never really believed it until I read Daniel's letter...Back in 1835, when Halley's comet was overhead, the same night those men died at the Alamo. They say Samuel Colt made a gun. A special gun. He made it for a hunter, a man like us, only on horseback. Story goes, he made thirteen bullets, and this hunter used the gun half a dozen times before he disappeared, the gun along with him. And somehow, Daniel got his hands on it. They say...they say this gun can kill anything."
Dean's brow furrowed. "Kill anything like, supernatural anything?"
"Like the demon." Sam and Holly realized.
John nodded. "Yeah, like the demon. Ever since I picked up its trail, I've been looking for a way to destroy that thing. Find the gun, we may have it."
John jumped through the window, followed by Sam, Dean, and then Holly. The four of them looked around the room to see the vamps sleeping in hammocks.
While John looked into the stalls, the siblings made their way into the barn. Dean passed a hammock and kicked an empty bottle on the ground. It clinked and Holly turned to glare at him. Luckily, the vampire didn't wake up.
Sam found the girl from the 911 call tied up against the pole. Holly wasn't sure if the girl was unconscious or asleep. He whispered, "Dean. Holly."
He stared to untie the girl and they heard a noise. Dean looked behind them and said quietly, "There's more."
Dean walked over to a locked metal grid to see people tied up, either sleeping or unconscious. He noticed a lock on the door and grabbed a metal hook to break the lock. Sam and Holly looked up at his noises and they looked over to the hammocks to see that there was no movement.
Holly noticed the girl tied to the pole stirring. "It's okay." she said quietly.
Sam said, "Hey. Hey, hey, we're here to help you."
The girl screamed an unearthly scream and Sam reared back, pulling Holly with him. Dean looked around and the vampires woke up.
"Sam! Holly!" Dean cried.
John looked towards the noise and saw the vampire leaders wake up. Luther threw him against a wall and John grabbed a rock and threw it at a blackened widow, causing the room to light up with the sun. Luther and Kate flinched away. "Boys, Holly, run!"
The siblings ran and called after their dad. The vampires chased them and the siblings burst through the barn doors into the daylight. They ran up the slope to the cars and turned to look back.
