Time to move on

"What the hell?" Charlotte exclaimed angrily.

"What happened Char?" Jade inquired.

"I don't know why but my stupid locker won't open," Charlotte complained.

"Did you forget your locker combination too?" Owen asked her.

"She is not you dumbo" Jade said rolling her eyes.

"Hey, that happened only once" Owen argued.

"Okay, two" he corrected himself when Jade gave him a look.

"The truth Owen" Jade demanded.

Owen huffed, "fine, 10 times but in my defense, the keypad wasn't working"

"Yeah, right, let's go with that" Jade commented causing Charlotte to laugh.

"Hey, besties and my beautiful angel" Jace arrived and pecked Charlotte.

"Hi" Charlotte replied sadly.

"Aww, what's wrong, Angel?" Jace asked her.

"Her locker won't open cuz she forgot the combination" Jade explained.

"Oh yeah, I changed it" Jace replied nonchalantly taking a fry from Charlotte's plate.

"Hands off my fries Norman" she swatted his hand away.

"Ow!" he said retrieving his hand.

"And why did you change my locker combination?" she asked angrily.

"uhh...Cuz 1234 is not exactly a secure password babe"

"It is secure enough and why did you call me like that?"

"I just felt like it but don't worry you are still my angel," he said causing her to roll her eyes.

Charlotte took two fries and put them in her mouth but Jace suddenly pulled her into a kiss.

After they pulled away, "Norman!!" Charlotte screamed at him because now both her fries are in his mouth.

"What you said hands off your fries and I didn't use my hands" he winked at her with a smug smirk.

"I am going to kill you" she clenched her fist ready to punch him.

"Okay, okay, I am sorry", he said holding her hands in a firm grip preventing her from punching him, "and your locker combination is 3210"

"Ha, 3210 is not exactly a secure password Norman" she retorted.

"Maybe but no one will guess it" he shrugged.

"Yeah, no one except all the girls at this school" Jade pointed out.

"Why?" Charlotte asked her puzzled.

"Because it's someone's birthday," Owen said looking at Jace.

"You put your birthday as my locker combination!?" Charlotte turned to Jace.

He just shrugged taking another bite.

Before Charlotte could speak further, Brad, one of Owen's friends came up to their table.
