Who is Chris?

"Why would they wanna kidnap someone like Freddie?" Glory cried into Bella as she rubbed her back rocking her back and forth.

"Yeah I mean if it were for ransom....." Katy began to speak.

"It isn't for ransom" Ronald interrupted speaking for the first time.

"What?" Glory looked up at him confused.

"They didn't kidnap him for ransom dear" Ronald repeated with an apologetic look on his face.

"What are you talking about Mr. Highmore? If it isn't for ransom then why....."

"We should tell her, Ron," Bella said causing Glory and Katy to turn to Bella curious.

Ronald nodded in agreement taking a deep breath.

"Glory dear we're not who you think we are," he said as Glory looked at him intently.

"Yes sweetheart, my husband and I, we work for MI6..." Bella added.

"What!??" Glory and Katy gasped shocked.

"Sorry for lying to you dear. It's just we thought that if you didn't know our secret, they wouldn't come after you" Ronald spoke further.

"Yeah, but we didn't expect them to do something like this" Bella said with remorse evident in her voice.

Glory shook her head in disbelief, "So, you two are not professors at Cambridge University?"

"No sweetheart" They shook their heads.

"We're truly sorry Glory...." Ronald began to apologize.

"So, whoever took Freddie you guys know who they are?" Glory asked further still trying to wrap her mind around the fact that her husband and in-laws have been lying to her all this time.

"Not exactly but yeah he's one of the most dangerous criminals we've been after" Bella replied.

"Yes dear we got most of his men but he escaped and....." Ronald began to explain.

"So, that was why you had to leave before our wedding?" Glory asked realizing.

"Yes, sweetheart. Actually, we both were supposed to go on that mission but....." Bella was interrupted by Xander.

"Uhh, guys we have a problem" panic was evident in his voice.

"What is it, Xander?" Ronald stood up alert and so did Bella.

Xander looked at Glory debating if he should tell in front of her.

"Please just tell us Xan!" Glory said as she began to hyperventilate.

Katy tried to console her hugging her tight.

"Uhh Jace isn't answering his phone" he informed.

"OMG!!!" Glory began to shiver and shake hysterical.

"Well if it isn't baby Norman" Chris smirked creepily.

"Chris?" Jace said not believing his eyes.

"In the flesh" he smirked smugly.

"Chris.....you......I......why?" Jace spoke as tears began to form in his eyes.

"What do you mean why?" He smirked propping his hands on his hips.

"She died, Chris! Did you know that!? How could you just leave them like that!? How could you even hit your own daughter!? She just tried to stop you from hitting her mother!" Jace bellowed with all the strength he had as tears began to stream down his face.
