"Glory please, don't cry" Xander rubbed her back as Glory cried into him.
The doorbell rang and Jace went to open the front door to reveal Cooper.
"Hey kids, I'm sorry I'm late. I was at the hospital when you guys called" Cooper said walking in.
"Hospital? Is everything okay Cooper?" Jace asked concerned.
"Yeah, yeah, its Ripley. She had a fever" he replied.
"How is she now? Is she okay?" Katy inquired.
"Yes, the doctor said it will subside by tomorrow but what is it? why did you guys call me? You said it was an emergency and where is Glory?" Cooper asked looking around the living room.
Katy and Jace ushered him to the bedroom where Glory was crying her eyes out.
"Glory?" Cooper said standing by the door.
"Cooper!" Glory ran to him and hugged him crying more.
"Shhh....it's okay. It's okay, kid" he consoled her.
"What happened?" he asked the others.
Xander explained to him about what happened.
"So, he hasn't even called or texted you?" Cooper asked.
"No, all the calls keep going to voice mail" Jace replied with glossy eyes, a little shaken.
"Okay, I'll make some calls...." Xander interrupted him.
"We've already asked Katy's dad to get the CCTV footage at the university....."
"Katy's dad?" Cooper squinted his eyebrows puzzled.
"Yes, my dad's the lead detective at LAPD Mr. Barnes" Katy replied.
"Wait, you're Dwayne's daughter?" Cooper asked her.
"Yeah, you know him?" Katy asked him.
"Yeah, your dad and I.......you know what, never mind" Cooper gave her a friendly smile.
Katy scrunched her eyebrows suspiciously but let it go.
"Okay, so when did your fa......." Cooper was interrupted by the doorbell ringing.
"That must be my dad. I'll go get it" Katy said walking out of the room.
"Did you guys inform your parents?" Cooper asked Xander.
"No, we didn't want to worry them"
"Okay" Cooper nodded understanding.
"Guys! Come down here!" Katy hollered from the living room.
"What is it, baby?" Xander asked as they all sat in the living room with Glory still crying on Cooper's shoulder.
"Nice to see you, Mr. Barnes"
"You too, detective Johnson" Dwayne and Cooper gave each other a nod of acknowledgment.
