Early in the morning

"You the guy Chris sent?" Josh asked.

"Yes, you Josh?" the guy inquired.

"Yeah. Here." Josh handed him the envelope.

"What's the job?" the guy inquired taking the envelope from him.

"Kill the guy and hand over the girl to me," Josh said simply.

"Okay, I'll...."

"No, not you. I want Chris to personally handle this." Josh insisted.

"Okay, I'll let the boss know." 

After Josh left, the guy called his boss.

"Yes?" his boss snapped.

"Boss, I took the envelope from him." The guy informed.

"Good, now eliminate the boy and get the girl." his boss ordered.

"But Boss, he specifically asked you to take care of this case personally."

There was silence for a minute on the other end.

"Boss?"

"Yeah, okay I'll come there in 3 months. I'll finish the job then."

"But boss what if the target escapes by that time?" he asked concerned.

The person on the other end laughed hysterically, "He's a teenager. Where's he gonna run to?"

"But...."

"Stop wasting my time and get more info on the girl and the target." he snapped and hung up.

Jace was woken up to the doorbell ringing. He rubbed his eyes opening them to see the time. It was 6 in the morning.

"What the..."

"Mmmmm......" Charlotte stirred in her sleep but didn't wake up.

He saw her sleeping peacefully and that brought a smile on his face. He kissed her forehead gently before putting on his clothes and going downstairs. He looked through the peephole and opened the door to reveal Xander and Freddie.

"What are you guys doing here this early?" Jace asked a little irritated, letting them in.

"Hey, I'm not here by choice. He dragged me here." Xander blamed Freddie.

"What's wrong Freddie? Is everything okay?" Jace asked concerned.

"Yeah, everything's fine, I...."

"Everything's fine!? Is that why you woke me up at 5 fucking 30 in the morning?" Xander spat at Freddie.

"Hey, it's not my fault you stayed up until 3," Freddie argued.

"Wait, you stayed up until 3? What were you doing Xan?" Jace asked in an innocent voice.

"Are you for real bro?" Xander snapped causing Jace to chuckle, "Sorry"

"Okay, guys, so I came here cuz I want your help with....." Freddie trailed off.

"With what?" Jace prompted him.

"I.....uhmmm....I'm planning on proposing to your sister..."

"What!?" Jace exclaimed.

"Really!?" Xander joined in.

"Yeah but I need your help planning it" Freddie spoke further.

"Cool, what do you need us to do?" Jace asked excitedly.
