Before they knew it, it was summerslam time again, and Seth was fighting to get his title back. Becky would be fighting hometown girl nattie niedhart... Seth was quieter than normal becky thought but she just assumed he was totally focusing on his match.
Just before that weeks raw Seth asked hunter if hw and becky could have 12 days off since they had been busting their asses for the company since january. hunter scratched his chin and said "when" "august 20th-september 1st" Seth said. I want to take becky to hawaii and just relax.
"hmmmm." he said "finn is off for 2 months around that same time and i am not saying why.... charlotte and andrade are going to be off for a few days at the end of that time"
"i have every right to tell you no" he said then he gave seth a little smile and said "but also want to keep my champs happy" then he added "and why do i get the feeling you have something planned for this hawaiian getaway?" he said giving seth a little wink "plans like finn's?"
"No sir" Seth said just relaxing and not worrying about wrestling or working out or my business, or my school." "seth" hunter said you are a LOUSY liar.. "we aren't taking that big step in our relaionship just yet" he told hunter then he said "but just between you and me, i am going to ask her to be my wife."
"hope this fares betther than the last time" Hunter chuckled... "don't be sending any pics to anyone" "HUNTER!!" Seth said "quit beating a dead horse" " i have grown up since then and I have never felt the way that i feel about becky about anybody else. and i want to be her husband and have a family with her" he said "she is my forever love and my soulmate"
they finished their discussion, and Seth slipped out of hunters office and headed to find becky's dressing room, he tapped on the door and said "becks, its me can we talk?" beck opened the door and motioned for him to step inside while she dropped her clothes into her bag. "lasskicker reporting for duty" she chuckled "your girlfriend as left the building"
Seth smiled and said "well, when you see her, will you tell her, aloha for me? she will know what you mean" Becky smiled and said "12 days in paradise with the man i love..." then she covered her mouth and giggled "oops, looks like your girlfriend is still poking around here" Seth just smiled and said "Fala Amo" as he snuck a quick kiss and left.
Becky and Seth were both victorious at summerslam and were counting down the days till their trip. charlotte even tried to get info out of seth but he wouldn't tell a thing cause he didn't want to spoil the moment for Becky.
Their first two days in Hawaii were very relaxing and uneventful. the third day they swam and played in the ocean, and then took a long walk on the beach, when they stopped at one point Seth took her hand and said this has easily been the craziest year of my life, but, the 6 months that we have been together have been 6 of the happiest months of my life- I never knew what true love was until we started dating... I love you with all my heart he said as he got on one knee and said I want you to be my wife, Rebecca, will you marry me?
Becky was speechless at first which made Seth nervous, but, then she managed a tearful "yes" Seth took the beautiful custom made ring from the box and slipped it on her finger they shared a long lingering kiss as they both shed tears of happiness. a friend who just happened to be there snapped a picture of them together on beach.
Becky and Seth headed back to thier hotel room so they could shower and change for dinner. While she waited for him to finish up in the bathroom, Becky posted the picture of her and Seth on her instagram and called it the happiest day of her life for the rest of her life. but before she posted it she sent the pic to her family back in ireland. Her mom was totally thrilled, and her dad and brother were too but they said to tell seth that if he ever did anything to hurt her or break her heart, that his body would never be found."
as she heard the bathroom door open she posted the picture to instagram and went in to get ready for dinner. they had a wonderful meal and celebrated their engagement with their friend. the next day they headed to a more private location for the rest of their vacaion. the area was very romantic, and after an amazing dinner and relaxing on their balcony watching the sunset, Seth got ready for bed while becky was in brushing her teeth. when she came out she turned off the light and crawled into bed next him. she relayed the message from her dad and her brother to him from the night before. "they have nothing to worry about, and neither do you" he said kissing her.
"if my dad knew that we weren't sleeping in seperate bedrooms here or at home" she said "he'd hit you in the head with the blarney stone!" "owie!" seth said and pretended to pout. "we are both adults" he reminded her as he rubbed her shoulders and back. "if laying here at night in the loving arms of my future husband is wrong, according to my dad.. then i don't want to be right." she giggled. "goodnight seth, i love you" she said he smiled at her and kissed her softly and said goodnight my wife to be, i love you."
they returned from their vacation a few days later and were relaxed and happy.... and in becky's case a little sunburned.
backstage at the labor day raw was pure craziness, coworkes coming up and congratualting them all afternoon and evening long, and the ladies all wanting to see becky's ring. "Becky?" kidman called out to get her attention, your in ring promo is next.. Becky got up from her chair and slowly put her ring jacket on "ouch ouch ouch " she said under her breath. as seth walked over to her she slipped her ring off and handed it to him- i dont want it to get lost or damaged she said quietly. he kissed her forhead and went over and sat by the monitor so he could watch her do her thing.
after her promo she came back and got ready for her match, which was thankfully a tag match. seth asked her if she wanted her ring back... after my match she said. the match was good until Bayley turned on her and started pounding on becky with a chair the ref got bayley and her bestie with the blue hair out of the ring. Seth was pacing backstage, he knew he had a dark match scheduled, but he wanted to be sure that the love his life was ok first.
his music hit and he ran down to the ring quickly and checked on her she wouldn't even talk to him she wanted him to keep his mind on his match and not on her.
HE quickly beat the hell out of corbin and picked up the win and headed backstage to find becky. he spotted her coming out of the trainers room alternating water and gatorade. "are you ok baby?" becky blushed and gave him a swat on the shoulder "we are at work remember"
They headed to the locker rooms to shower and becky found her locker empty.. "bleedin hell where the fook is my stuff" she stepped into the hallway and got hunters attention as he walked by he made sure the locker room was empty and searched it for her stuff, not finding it he walked her to Seth's locker room so she could shower at least, hunter knocked loudly on the door several times before seth answered it wearing a towel and flip flops becky had to fight hard not to laugh and she was blushing badly at the same time.
"somebody swiped her stuff from her locker room so i told her she could use your shower" hunter said "now, no funny business you two" he said winking as he walked away Seth went in and finished his shower and dressed so becky could take her shower.
as he waited for becky, there was a knock at his door he looked out and it was bliss and nikki, they had beckys stuff, "is she ok?" she never came back to the locker room, we have been sitting there for 20 minute to a half hour waiting for her we finally packed up her things and decided to bring them to you" she added
"she's fine, just a little sore- sunburn and steel chairs don't mix" " i wonder if she went to the empty dressing room down the hall from ours?" bliss said. they left ther things with seth and when seth turned around becky was drying her haid wearing one of his t- shirts and a pair of his basketball shorts.
"my stuff" she giggled tiredly you found it.... the gathered their bags and headed for their hotel for a good night's sleep and Seth couldn't stop thinking about how hot she looked in his clothes.
