It was just after 6am Christmas Eve day, Seth and Becky were up early for their crossfit workout. Seth's brother was coming over to watch Kayleigh so they didn't have to take her out on in the freezing rain.
"he should be here soon" Seth told Becky as she pulled her hair into a ponytail. "its going to be weird not working out the next few days" Becky said "i know" Seth told her "but we can stiill get a workout in with the equipment we have in the basement- just no insane joshy crossfit, since he is going home for Christmas."
"im takin a break from it tomorrow lad- Its Christmas day" she told him "and i am going to relax and spend the day with My bonus family, my daughter, and my amazing husband... just wearing comfy clothes, eating, listening to all the great christmas music and enjoying every minute of it.
Seth smiled at her as his brothers truck pulled into the driveway "sounds like a great plan to me" he told her reaching for their winter coats.
"go bye bye?" Kayleigh said grabbing one of her pink boots and holding out to Seth. Seth got eye level with her and said "no sweetie, you aren't going bye bye- mommy and daddy are going to work out" he told her. " mommy daddy wor out?" she said smiling "that's right" he told her. "uncle joe is going to stay her with you till we get back-- so you be a good girl" he told her "Otay" she said.
Becky and Seth told him to make sure she had her breakfast and that her clothes were laid out for him in her room. "don't worry red" he teased becky "kay kay and i will be just fine" Seth grabbed their bags and they headed to the gym.
when they got there the lot was pretty much empty, and neither Seth or Becky was surprised with the weather being so gross. Seth signed them in and then they both went to change. as they stretched, Cesaro walked in and went straight to the locker room to change.
"Hey C!" Seth said "we need to talk before joshy gets here" Cesaro somewhat nodded as Seth walked over by him. "you did an AMAZING job playing a sleazy a- hole in the program we just finished." "it was very convincing." he added.
Cesaro actually smiled and said "that was the hardest thing i have ever had to do" he admitted. "im still feeling the effects of some of those shots you gave me" he told Seth. Seth chuckled "Well, then... keep your hands and lips off my wife." "its a deal" Cesaro said.
"how did you get in our hotelr rooom anyways...?" Seth asked him.. Cesaro blushed...."the love of my life surprised me and was actually at the show... she never comes to my matches hardly ever" "i was so happy to see her, and hold her in my arms that i thought i was at my hotel room door and used the card that was in the door already and let myself in."
"card that was in the door?" Becky said shooting Seth a look "some scatterbrain must have been distracted and left theirs in the door." Seth chuckled. and whispered in becky's ear " at that point, all i was thinking about, was making love to my beautiful wife." Becky giggled and blushed.
Cesaro glanced at his fitness tracker and said "its nearly 7:45.. its not like joshy to be late" Becky nodded in ageement as Seth texted joshy. "i need to tell you both something" Cesaro said "there was another part to the program...but, i put the kibosh on it before you two found out about it."
"oh?" said Seth glancing at his phone to see if joshy responded "the writer and someone else wanted vingettes filmed of me in bed with Becky at a hotel kissing.... then they were going to have the two of you make up and similar vingettes were going to be filmed of you and Becky together... several weeks later Becky was going to be too ill to compete in her scheduled title match, and it was going to be revealed that she was expecting.... and then she would have had to admit to you that she didn't know if you were the father or not."
Seth and Becky were dumbfounded and said nothing "it gets worse" Cesaro said "i mean I couldn't believe it myself, the idiot writer actually expected Becky and I to be filmed in a bed together....naked" "what?" Seth said "are you serious?" "sadly yes" Cesaro told him.. " and it was said that when you and Becky filmed your vingettes you both would be covered from the waist down and it would be blurred to make fans think you weren't"
Seth actually laughed and said "so....... they wanted you and my wife to actually be buck naked in bed together.... but not my wife and I?" he shook his head "just what was the writer smoking and or drinking before coming up with that ass backwards thinking"
"i told Hunter immediately, and we both told the writer off" Cesaro told them "then he and i came up with the idea for me to challenge you to the match where you would have to walk away from Becky.
"i could have never gone through with that part of the program" he told them "i take the promises i made to the love of my life- VERY seriously" he added "and I would never do anything to break them." he said "and i am sure you and Becky feel the same way about the promises you made to each other." "100 percent" Seth said.
Becky looked around and said "where the fook is joshy? Seth laughed as Cesaro texted him... Seth made a face and said i heard a text alert... blow up his phone" Becky took Seth's phone and she and cesaro blew joshy's phone up with texts as Seth followed the sound... 'Its coming from the office" he said "maybe he left it here yesterday" Seth opened the office and it was dark, joshys phone and bag were on the desk.
"his stuff is here... but where is he?" Seth said. Cesaro checked the locker room and the men's room and then grabbed his coat to see if joshy's car was in the lot... which it was the three of them searched the building for joshy but found no sign of him... Seth called the coffee shop down the street to see if he had been in that morning like he usually was.
when he hung up, he said " joshy stopped and got his usual this morning" i bet he is pranking us. "i''ll check the equipemnt room" becky said "if he's not there i say we close up shop and go home." Seth nodded.
just then Joshy walked in "i am so sorry guys!" i had to run and drop something off at the post office and clear up the mess with them holding my mail while i am gone, and the lines were horrendous! i was going to call here but realized i left my phone on the desk when i reached in my pocket and it wasn't there.
"im in the holiday spirit" he said "no workout today!!" i'll see everyone January 2nd-- Merry Christmas!
