"I'm really sorry for how busy I've been lately, I swear I'll make it up to you, as soon as your bruise heals I'll bring you out to the fanciest restaurant there is," Dylan promised.
She smiled at him, "It's fine, you don't have to bring me anywhere, I just want you to spend some time with me now."
He nodded slowly and sat beside her on the couch, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her into his his side.
He flicked through the movies before he decided on simply turning on a movie that she wasn't familiar with. She tried her best to pay attention to it, but she couldn't stop herself from dozing off in the middle of it.
"Rise and shine Charlie!" A voice yelled in her ear.
She groggily opened her eyes and threw a cushion at Thomas, now finding that Dylan had disappeared whilst she was asleep.
"Oof, your bruise still looks pretty bad, do you want to hit me so we can match?" He offered. She laughed at his hopeful expression, which made him smile.
"No, I don't think I will need to do that, thanks for the offer." A full blown laugh was now fighting its way out of her chest and the hair on the back of her neck stood up as he tucked a wisp of her Hair behind her ear, making her heart flutter gently.
"So, I was thinking, tomorrow is meant to be a pretty nice day, so why don't we go to the beach?"
Charlie smiled, "Well of course we can go to the beach."
Thomas's eyes brightened and she knew he had an idea, "We should all camp on the beach! How fun would that be? I have a huge tent and Preston has a huge tent! This is so exciting!"
Charlotte laughed at the young man and shook her head, although she was looking forward to the next day.

They pulled up at the car park, all of them filing out of the cars excitedly. The sun was blazing hot and everyone was dressed in light summer clothes, making the most of the warm weather.
As soon as they got onto the sand all of the boys had immediately removed their shirts, leaving them in their swimwear, and the girls had all took off their clothes and were left in their bikinis that they had underneath.
Dylan wrapped his arm around Chloe, giving her a gentle peck on the lips, "Ugh, you're so sexy," he groaned into her ear. His voice was husky, making her shiver in his grip.
"Who's coming into the water!?" Lucas yelled, sprinting towards the sea.
Everyone laughed and ran to the water, the beach was rather stranded so they all just left their bags unattended.
Charlotte shrieked as she was picked up and placed over someone's shoulder, although she immediately recognized it to be Dylan.
"Put me down!" She yelled with a laugh as he continued to run into the water. The sound of his laughter filled her ears as he flung her off of his shoulder, making her land in the water with a splash.
She resurfaced and spat water at him, making him wipe his face with disgust. "You're something else, you know that?" He asked with a laugh.
She giggled as he picked up her legs and wrapped them around his waist, connecting their lips together.
His hands travelled down to her ass and he gave it a gentle squeeze. "Keep it PG you guys," a voice growled.
