"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Charlotte, happy birthday to you!"
Dylan's voice bellowed through her bedroom, causing Charlotte to jump up in shock. She turned around to glare at him for waking her up until she took in the sight in front of her.
There was Dylan, with a teddy bear as big as her, wearing one of his sweatshirts, with a basket on its arm.
She squealed and jumped up, swiftly grabbing the teddy bear from his arms. "Thank you!"
She placed the bear on her bed and lay on it, beginning to look through the basket. She pulled out many boxes of different chocolates and jellies, but the thing that she loved the most was a tiny cushion that was shaped like a love heart.
Dylan stood watching her with a large smile on his face, laughing lightly at her excitement over a teddy bear. "Thank you so much!"
She grabbed his hand and pulled him down onto the bed placing a firm kiss against his lips. He pulled back, scrunching up his nose in disgusting, although there was hint of a smile on his face. "You've got some serious morning breath."
She laughed and slapped him gently on the chest, causing him to dramatically place his hand where she had hit, pretending to be hurt.
"Okay seriously, lets get you some breakfast."
He pulled Charlotte up by the hand and dragged her to the kitchen, where Jordan Lucy and Thomas were sitting, munching on a pile of food.
"Oh my god, is that a grey hair?"
Charlotte glared at Lucy's weak joke and rolled her eyes, although the smile was prominent on her face.
Suddenly Conor barged in the door, throwing a blanket at Charlotte, which she easily caught.
"What is this?"
He shrugged, "Your present."

"I can't believe you're finally twenty." Lucy continued to beat her face with the beauty blender, staring at herself in the Mirror as she spoke.
Charlotte shrugged with a laugh, "I'm not a baby anymore."
She pulled the dress up over her legs, smiling to herself as she did so. Three Gentle knocks on her door attracted both of their attention, and she opened the door slowly to see Thomas standing in front of her.
He had a small black box in his hands, neatly tied with a ribbon, "Can I have a minute?" He asked, directing his attention to Lucy. She gave a small nod and made herself scarce and walked in, glancing around at all of the scattered clothes and makeup on the floor.
"Very clean." He scrunched his nose up in disgust, a small smile on his face. Charlotte rolled her eyes as he began to fiddle with the box he was holding.
"I got you a present."
Her eyed widened in surprise, "You did?"
He shrugged, "Don't think this makes us friends."
She smiled, "Of course not.
He spun her around gently, leaving his hands on the top of her shoulders. He removed them for a fraction of a second to open the box until she felt a cold chain being placed around her neck.
She took a deep breath, his fingers creating goosebumps on her skin. She looked down to see the necklace they had seen one of her first days moving in, when they went to the shop.
