"I hope you'll listen to me and you won't go tracking down Dylan," She stated, eyeing her brother, who simply shrugged in response.
In fact, he wasn't going to track Dylan down, but if he happened to come across him then he would not hesitate in breaking his jaw.
Thomas smirked, watching the two. He knew Conor would kill Dylan when he caught him.
"So I have to get to class. I doubt either of you would feel happy to take me?" She asked, glancing at them both.
Thomas shrugged, "I'll bring you, if you want."
She smiled gratefully as Conor gave her a smirk, even he could see Thomas's infatuation with the girl.

"So what do you think he's going to do?" Thomas asked, glancing at her with mild concern.
They were almost at the college now and Charlotte was expressing her worry that Conor would do something stupid if he saw Dylan.
"Beat him up or something, I don't know. I just don't want him to be fighting. I can't save him from a fight," she complained.
Thomas stopped the car and rolled his eyes, "You're so uptight. You don't have to be in control all of the time."
"It's not about control. I'm wo-"
"No Charlotte, that's exactly what it's about. You've barely left his side since he woke up. You don't want him to get hurt so you're trying to control his every move like a little psycho."
She raised her hand and slapped him in the face, her heart racing, "Don't even start that shit."
He pulled over, seeing they were a block away from campus, "Get out."
She raised her eyebrows and looked at his tight jaw, "Fine by me."
She slammed the car door after she got out and flipped him off before storming to her class, her mind consumed with hatred for him.
Charlotte was called back after class once again, raising the suspicions of some of her classmates. There was even a rumor that she was hooking up with Mr. Kane, but it was soon put to an end when all of the drama with her brother and Dylan began.
"So, I've heard that Conor's okay?" He asked cautiously, his hands in his pockets.
"Yeah. He's great, actually."
He smiled at her, "That's good to hear, that's very good to hear."
A knock on the door sounded through the room, making Charlotte jump slightly. She turned around to see that Preston was standing at the entrance of the room, awkwardly looking between the two.
"Sorry to interrupt but Charlotte I was told to come and get you."
She nodded and said goodbye to her professor before following Preston out of the room.
"Please tell me you're not fucking your professor," he growled, turning around to face her suddenly.
She frowned, "What the hell are you talking about?" Despite knowing about the rumor, she knew it has been quenched and she also thought that the people who were in her friend group knew that they weren't hooking up, because she had more self respect than that.
"I'm talking about the fact that you've been sleeping with your professor and probably cheating on your ex boyfriend with him. That's disgusting by the way. Not only did you cheat on someone but with someone so much older too, and he can lose his job for this-" He angrily ranted until Charlotte cut him off.
"I'm not sleeping with him, and you seem to be forgetting that Dylan was the damn one who cheated on me, not the other way around, so don't try to make me out to be the bad guy!"
He clenched his jaw, his eyes holding such judgement that it seemed to fuel her annoyance.
"I'm not making you out to be the bad guy, I'm just saying you're very close with that guy, it's creepy."
She scoffed and rolled her eyes, "I don't think you're one to talk about people being creepy."
He glared at her, "What's that supposed to mean?"
She shrugged, looking at her feet, "You haven't exactly been the most sane person I've met. You're kinda crazy, to be honest."
He rolled his eyes, letting out an exasperated sigh. "I'm not crazy."
"Neither is he."
She walked pass him, towards Jordan's car, although he gripped her wrist tightly, stopping her from being able to move.
"Don't say that I'm crazy."
"Then don't act like it."
They held an intense stare down for a few moments, neither of them saying a word, but both of them far too stubborn to break the eye contract first.
Eventually Preston forfeited, "Call me crazy again and you'll see crazy," he warned.
She slapped him in the face quickly, shoving him back as she did so, "Don't threaten me Preston. You don't want to get on my bad side, I have too much things to say that could make a lot of people hate you."
He towered over her, his glare so intimidating it would make even the bravest of people nervous. "Just get out of here, I'm sure there's someone waiting for you to bring you home."
She glared at him with as much hatred as she could muster, "You're a real dick sometimes, you know that? He was my fucking babysitter you ignorant tool."
Preston watched her walk away angrily and she rubbed at the palm of her hand. That was the second time that day she had slapped someone and they happened to be cousins.
Being an absolute dickhead seemed to run through the family.
