"But if you were burned alive it would really hurt!"
"But if you drowned it would be long and painful. You'd more than likely die faster because of the pain than the fire, boom, quick and easy."
Charlotte rolled her eyes at Dylan's annoying statement, realizing he did in fact have a point, but she was much too stubborn to admit that.
"Still."
He grinned at her as he wrapped the blanket around himself tighter, shivering gently. "This apartment gets so damn cold when the weather is like this."
Charlotte nodded in agreement, pulling her own blanket around her. "Maybe, if we share blankets we'll get double the heat. So like we put them on top of each other and then both get under it."
Dylan nodded and he quickly put both of the blankets on top of one another, before they both got under the blanket together, continuing to watch the movie. They slowly moved closer to each other as Dylan wrapped his arm around her waist.
She leaned into him, absorbing his body heat as she laughed at Pennywise.
Although IT: chapter two, was a scary movie, it had its funny parts, but it was also kinda sad, something that she liked.
"What would pennywise turn into for you?" Dylan asked as it showed bill talking to his younger brother in a basement filled with water.
Charlotte tensed up at the memory, wishing he had never asked the question. He glanced down at her, cocking an eyebrow.
"I guess, it would probably show my dad."
His hand tightened around her shoulder as he nodded gently, not feeling as though he should ask any more questions about it, although his curiosity was burning inside him.
"Mine would be my aunt I think."
She gave him a questioning look, unsure of whether to ask about it or not. "I mean, talk about it if you want, but no pressure."
"She just had strange methods of minding a child."
Charlotte nodded once again, not willing to ask again. "I have a question."
She looked at him with a wondering stare. "Why are you dating me?"
"Well what do you mean?" Her voice was becoming slightly offended.
He tended up, not wanting to anger her. "I just mean, I don't seem like your type."
"And what's my type then?"
He shrugged, "I don't know, a nice guy."
"Well what's not nice about you?" She was now sitting up, facing him, their bodies no longer touching, her form shivering as she was no longer under the blanket.
He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her onto his lap.
"Don't get defensive."
She sighed and kissed his cheek, "You're perfect."
He gave her a small smile and pecked her on the lips, "I think I have to go now," He groaned.
She watched him leave with a frown, disappointed that he was leaving her so soon.
After a while of sitting with a frown, Thomas walked in, holding a pizza box in his hand.
She raised her eyebrows as he placed it on the table in front of her, "Do you like pepperoni?"
She nodded and he sat down beside her, a long sigh escaping from his lips.
"So, Dylan was over today?" He asked, looking at the blanket that was on the opposite armchair.
