"Hey sweetheart, looking good as always," He stated, kissing Charlotte's temple gently.

She smiled at him and let him lead her to his car.

"So, this party is in the East?" She asked as he raced to the location of the party.

He nodded, "Yep, it's gonna be lit."

She laughed gently, "I'm more worried about how I'm going to get home."

He shrugged, "Ubers are a thing for a reason."

She rolled her eyes, "I know, I just don't want anything to happen is all."

Alfie smirked at her as he pulled up outside a large house. The car ride was about forty five minutes, so she definitely would not be able to walk home if she ended up spending all of her money.

He grabbed her hand and led her into the party. The music was booming loudly and there was lights flashing everywhere. People were dancing and grinding on each other, some were crowded around in a circle while playing a game and others were simply just chatting and drinking.

Charlotte immediately made her way over to the kitchen, deciding she'd need to be very drunk if she was going to survive the night, and very quickly made herself hammered.

As the night went on she made more and more friends, they all had fun. She observed a game of truth or dare and then continued on her way.

She was now stood in the back garden, looking at the light of the moon glisten in the pool. For the rough side of town it was certainly still a very nice house.

"So, you enjoying the party?" Alfie asked, rubbing her shoulders.

A loud hiccup erupted from her stomach and she blushed as he laughed, "I'll take that as a yes then."

He disappeared back into the house and she eventually went in too, losing herself in all of the chaos.

After a long time of dancing she stumbled off of the dance floor, wiping the sweat off of the tip of her head. She made her way to the bathroom and opened the door, locking it as she walked in.

She checked her phone and frowned, it was on 1%.

She decided it was time for her to go. She went on to her phone to try and get onto the Uber app, but as soon as she pressed on it the phone screen went dark.

She huffed angrily and shoved her phone back into her purse.

She stood up and stumbled back into the party, looking for Alfie. He was nowhere to he found. After an hour she gave up.

Everyone was leaving now and she rolled her eyes and left too.

She walked around in the dark for a long time, walking along deserted roads until she could find a Payphone.

Eventually she did and she dialed one of the only numbers she knew by heart.

He answered immediately. "Hey Conor," She said tiredly. It was late and she had a massive headache.

"Who is this?" He asked.

"It's your favorite sister."

She heard him sigh and began to rustle through some things, "Why are you calling me? It's 5 am," he asked grumpily, "Actually, why aren't you calling me on your phone? Are you okay?"

"I was at this party, I'm at the rough side of town and my phone died. I don't know the number for Uber and I just used my last quarter trying to call you so I wouldn't be able to afford to pay for one anyway. Could you please pick me up?" She asked, putting on the most innocent voice she could muster.
