Charlotte skipped through the apartment, a large smile on her face. She had spent the whole day catching up on all of her missing assignments and organised a work schedule with Todd over the phone.

Her life was officially back to normal, apart from all of the emotional scars and trauma, but she was working through it.

Thomas raised his eyebrows at her, "Whats got you in such a good mood?"

She smiled, "Not only was yesterday a great day at work and I caught up on all my college work, but today is the day of our second date, if you haven't forgotten."

He smirked, wrapping his arms around her waist, "Trust me, I didn't forget. This has been extremely hard to plan, especially because of your no money rule."

She picked him on the lips, "That'll make it even better."

He rolled his eyes, "You better enjoy it."

He squeezed her ass and released her, running his hand along her back as he walked pass her.

"You should get ready! The sun is setting!" He yelled out as he headed into his bedroom.

She smiled to herself, already more excited than ever to go on their next date.

She knocked on his door, "How do I dress?"

"Just wear something simple, anything that you're comfortable in," He called back.

She bit her lip and turned away, walking into her bedroom. She took a seat at her vanity table.

She flicked through all of her makeup, she hated not knowing what she was preparing for and when it was something to do with Thomas she was that much more nervous.

She tried to settle her nerves as she began to apply some natural makeup, he had told her to dress simple, so that was what she was trying to do.

The weather was still warm so she decided she was going to wear a simple sun dress. She never wore dresses anymore, she hadn't felt comfortable enough to show that much skin but she felt safe around Thomas, safe enough to let him see her body.

He had never made her feel anything apart from safe.

She decided on wearing her simple light blue sundress. She hadn't worn it in a long time, but she was sure it would still look the same on her.

She glanced at her reflection in the mirror, fiddling with her necklace, the only thing left to do was her hair

She glanced at her reflection in the mirror, fiddling with her necklace, the only thing left to do was her hair.

She stared at herself for a moment, she had certainly gotten much skinnier than she used to be, she supposed that had to do with all of the things that happened to her recently.

She shook her head slightly and put some loose curls in her hair.

She heard some light tapping on her door and she rubbed her sweaty hands on her dress. She had never felt this nervous before.
